Prestige Horse Transport

Pretty much stolen my horse blocked my number refused to help. Picked up a horse without consent. Terrible communication and a dishonest company that will not admit to their faults.

Please do not pay this company upfront. We paid upfront for two horses almost 6 weeks ago, and one of them wouldn't load. I was assured a refund would be given time and time again. Every time I called, a different excuse was given as to why it had not been processed.The horse that wouldnt load was a rescue brumby being used as a therapy horse for my partner who is a Veteran and has served his country for 6 tours overseas. The money not being refunded is his money. They are aware of this.Have been in contact with ACCC and Consumer affairs, and upon their advise am about to start proceedings with VCATT. I even offered to pay a handling fee (for their time) out of the $550 paid. Still nothing.Prestige was a reputable company a decade ago (back in the Vichorse forum days), unfortunately this is not the case anymore. They also quoted us one fee, and invoiced us a more expensive one. Do yourself a favour and steer clear. There are far better horse transport companies around. My original choice was Southwest Horse Transport, I wish i had have just waited the extra time and used them.

I would like to extend my warmest gratitude to prestige. From pick up in Queensland right through to Gippsland Victoria the utmost care was taken looking after my green mare. Fantastic experience long haul transporting my horse. Gavin the driver was so lovely. He was professional and friendly and coped with me being a nervous wreck. My horse arrived after such a long drive without much sign of him being transported and fully relaxed really quickly on arrival. Will use again

Lil walked off the truck yesterday in a very relaxed and stress-free manner. Thanks again to Rachel and her Team, I highly recommend this company.

Incompetent drivers and a lieing owner that doesn't pay for damages they cause, I love the fact you love to lie behind a keyboard, your driver missed the Calvert dropping the trailer in the drain! There was no pot hole he fell into. Aswell as the fact you have never previously delivered horses to the property in the three years I have been managing the property. Funny that many trucks semi's and truck and dogs have no issue, you keep mentioning a grader there was no grader! Your driver removed the fence to allow access for an excavator! Once again incompetent company with incompetent drivers! Your reviews aswell as feedback from social media certainly shows this isn't the only case. I have the screen shots of you admitting fault and requesting quotes for the repairs then you stopped replying so well done prestige you can lie all you like you clearly aren't as smart as you think. Good luck with your business as I can only you hope you manage to keep the trucks on the road in the future

Dishonest, late and unreliable.BEWARE the smooth talk and guarantees this company provides. I recently hired this company to load my small, 13 hand gelding. After arriving 6 hours late with no apology, they spent 15 minutes attempting what could only be described as a circus, to then give up and drive off. Honestly, even my geriatric sheep dog would have no trouble persuading this horse onto a float.When I asked why they had trouble loading such a small and easy horse, Rachael admitted the male driver had a bad temperament when it comes to some horses. I was told not to worry, as they would send someone “kinder” the next day, and if they had no success, then they would happily provide me a refund.Surprise surprise, they never loaded the horse and months later I am still without a refund.I hope all people read this review before considering this company, I wouldn’t touch them with a 50 foot pole and advise everyone to steer clear.

My horse arrived at his destination injured and they denied anything had happened. The people I sent him to were the ones to tell me. Was told she would be finding out more information, never heard from her again. Thankfully the injuries were not serious, just superficial wounds, however they still required vet care which I have also not had any response from when trying to have this covered, as he was very clearly injured whilst in their possession. Do not use this company.
