Bright Barn Retreat

There were several issues with the house.*The shower in the studio is not functional as it is broken.*The bathroom downstairs does not open from the inside, I was locked in there and my toddler was in the house on his own as we were the first to arrive. I had to wait 2 hours for the next guest to arrive to let me out. It was lucky that he didn't get into anything dangerous. He was distressed during this time and there was nothing I could do to get out. It was very traumatic.*The bedroom downstairs has no blinds. This meant our children were up as soon as the sun was up. It also provided no relief from the heat.*The master room bathroom did not have a functional shower.*The door to the balcony in the upstairs bedroom with the queen and the single would not stay shut which meant the heat would come in during the day.*The cubby house is advertised but the upper level is not accessible as shown in the listing*The bins were full on our arrival*The cigarette receptacle had been tipped over at the front door on my arrival and I had to pick up the cigarette butts by hand so my toddler would not eat them. I do not smoke so this was disgusting. Covid times this is not acceptable.*The oven glass broke when we were there as there was no stopper on it. The host expected us to pay for a whole new oven, even though the oven was faulty.*Save yourself the money and headache and stay somewhere that is not as exorbitantly priced for the facilities

Great space for the kids to run free. The house was spacious and clean Victoria was always quick in responding to me. This is an amazing place with a lot of great views and beautiful scenery. If you want a break from city life, this is the perfect place for you
