Poor service. Long wait. Equipment not working. DIRTY!! Paint was really bad, nail polish super tick and the woman was faking cleaning my nails. Don’t come to this place and safe yourself a bad experience

Do not get a lash lift here. Mine are fried- if you don’t have the ability to do lash lifts correctly DO NOT DO IT. I’m so disappointed.

If I could have rated 0 stars, I would have. The absolute worst pedicure experience. For some reason, the girl doing my pedicure was using cuticle clippers to remove my normal nail polish off my toes nails by scraping and ripping off the polish. Even when I said it was normal polish and it hurt how she was basically pulling my toenail off my toe with the cuticle clippers, she was rude, aggressive and did not ease up. The nail polish was bubbling and when I pointed it out I was told it was my nails, which is ridiculous because I have never experienced that before. EVER. Terrible experience.

Took about 15 mins for someone to come and start my pedi. She didn’t even say hello when she finally arrived. Rushed dodgy job. Not sure if the place has ever been cleaned. Won’t be back.

AVOID. Dirty!!!!, Bad Sevice, Rude!! sooo slow and worst a total Rip Off with no advertised prices. Worst nail salon in randwick will never return, should be ashamed to operate this way.

I've been here twice now and both times I've been amazed at the quality of the nails I've received. I had acrylics with shellac and they lasted almost 5 weeks and only needed redoing as my nails had grown, today I popped in again and got acrylic infills with shellac. They're like new again! Fantastic!This time I had a photo of what I wanted and, despite being busy, the girls worked hard to fit me in and I'm so glad they did because I LOVE my new nails. Thank you so much. See you in a few weeks.......

Usual story when you go in, they say they can do you straight away but then you end up waiting 30 minutes because they pack more people in and don’t have enough staff. Just take the number of people that you can manage, instead of having people sitting around getting frustrated. It took an hour and 20 minutes just to get a pedicure today. But I sat there for 40 minutes waiting and watched people that came in after me get started first… it’s not that hard, you can do better than this.

I have been coming to this place for few years now and I never had a bad experience with neither quality or customer service. I have seen a lot of rude customers though. I think the staff is very friendly and professional and I love their massage chairs :)

The worst manicure and pedicure I’ve ever had. They don’t know how to remove shellac effectively, my finger nails all had terrible scratch marks everywhere, I have never experienced such low standards. Nails not painted properly, the sides of my nails are not completely covered with nail polish. Very disappointed will not be going there again. A total waste of my time and money, I believe i got a $20 job not what they charged. I am now looking for another nail salon to remove and redo properly in the next couple of days.American nails Never Again!

I have been to this salon many times over a number of years, mainly because they were local to me. Over the years I have had a couple of decent manicures and pedicures but over the last handful of visits I have been very disappointed. On a couple of occasions, my nails have been left with sections of nail not covered with polish or polish bubbling. I kept returning because I thought it may have just been a bad day. On the last occasion though, the person removing my shellac did so much damage to my nails - basically ripping the shellac off my nails with cuticle clippers and I could see them peeling before my eyes. They then proceeded to use the electric filer to smooth them excessively which became very painful and hot - I now know that was because of how thin they had filed my nails down to be. The shellac they put on cracked within hours because of how flexible my nails were. I went to a different salon to have the shellac removed because it was so damaged and they were alarmed and advised me that my nails were so thin that I should let the whole nail grow out before having any further treatment.Now that I go to a different salon, I realise how dirty American Nails is and the elements of service that are missing.Sadly, I would recommend against using the services of this salon. I hope they read these reviews and make some improvements.
