The Balan Village Motel

Great location rooms very clean and spacious. Restaurant was very good. Would stay there again.

The rooms was spacious, however as soon as we walked in, we could tell the carpets weren't cleaned properly and the paint on the walls were chipping off onto the floor. However, we just brushed that aside until we saw the couch. It was extremely dusty and discoloured into a musty yellow. There was absolutely no way we were gonna sit on that couch. Additionally, when laying on the beds, a funky smell of urine was subtle at first but got more distinct. The refrigerator was okay, a little filthy but manageable. The toilets were so-so, but I definetly don't think the motel lived up to my expectations based on the high reviews.

Very convenient location opposite Woolworths, McDonald's and kfc. The food at the on-site Chinese restaurant was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable but could do with a new couch.

Photos on the website look nice, but reality looks different. Our apartment was very worn out and not clean. We stayed for just one night on our roadtrip. We did not complain because price was low and people very friendly, but I would recommend a to avoid this place...

The room was very poor. No spoons for making tea even.Went out for a walk came back and TV and lights were on, things were moved in the room. I did not feel safe staying there for the night.A very thin towel for showerRoom was downstairs from owner of motel and they were up until 3am bumping around upstairsWould not stay there again

This motel is one of the very best I have enjoyed for a very long time. Easy check in., on-site parking., restaurant on property., room was spacious and very clean., bathroom was definetly a bonus as a shower chair was provided without my having to ask for one., everything you can imagine that is required in a motel at these rates is there, and then some. Very friendly staff and such a quiet nights sleep. Even though this motel is on a main road, once my door was closed I had silence. No traffic. Just nice and quiet. Air conditioned rooms and extra blankets and pillows. Infact, the pillows were so good I wanted to take them home. The bed was very comfortable and well made. I had a very good night sleep and woke refreshed. If I had to find anything that could have made my stay any better., it would have been to have included breakfast. But there is a supermarket within walking distance from the motel where breakfast cereal and milk can be purchased if required. However., as my dinner from the night before was such a healthy serving, I was able to heat it in the morning and have that for my breakfast. So no cereal as l required. Best motel in Nowra. What more can I say?

We had a great time staying in your motel. Your hospitality is very much appreciated. The motel is clean and convenient. Food and woolies in 2 minutes distance. Close to lots of great tourist spots. Definitely recommended.

No room service No breakfast yes there is restaurant but completely separate will not charge to room. False advertising at its finest!

The place is a gem, rooms are very very clean and good size. The location is spot on for any day trips in the area and chef Tony's restaurant has fantastic food with great service.Overall I would say when you are thinking of somewhere to stay in the area do not overlook this place, you won't be disappointed. Keep up the great work guys we will be back.

I’ve only stayed in a handful of motels around the world and this is by far the best. I took out a star because tv was laggy and wifi was spotty so Netflix didn’t work well. The place is old but has been refurbished. Bed was very comfortable and clean. We stayed there for 2 nights.
