Disappointed with the meat - we purchased beef steaks to cook. Quite expensive- quite chewy and too much gristle. Will not purchase meat from them again.

I buy from shire foods quite regularly and find they have such a large and nice variety. I have bought the veal schnitzel on many occasions because my family love it . This time when I cooked it there was so much so sinue and grizzly bits that it was not chewable I through out the majority . Was very disappointed and will not be buying the veal schnitzel any more.!!!!

Excellent service and even better produce. We ordered a salad and fruit platter for a family Christmas celebration and these guys did not disappoint! Friendly and helpful staff when ordering and I was so pleased with the quality of the food I ordered. So fresh, and generous serving sizes. Would highly recommend and I'll definitely be back. Thank you!

I ordered lamb, beef and Greek salad for a baptism. They came ‘pulled’ which I did not ask for and would have specified if I did. You don’t give someone pulled lamb by default. There were large chunks of fat throughout and swimming in fat we had to drain it and pull it all out.The Greek salad was 90% cucumber and SOFT tomato. Both trays of salad and the lamb went uneaten by guests which goes to show the low standard. I thought Shire Foods would be better.I sent them through photos of our order and feedback with no response. They don’t even care what they serve. It’s a shame to waste good meat by not preparing it appropriately.

I purchased the 4 x cake slabs (vanilla, carrot, chocolate and banana) for my engagement party- and they were absolutely FANTASTIC! we got so many compliments and wow so moist and tasty. Would highly recommend and very well priced! We had 170 people and had LOTS of left overs. A+++ would purchase again. Thanks :)

Great choice of food, loved going here as it’s local. The lady is rude, I asked a question and she looked at me like I had three heads. The guy is super nice though. However, turned me off going again.

Shopped at shire foods over the weekend. Bought some scotch fillet steaks, chicken and lamb souvlakia for our BBQ. Everyone raved about how tender and delicious everything was. It is absolute hidden gem and the customer service was faultless.

Great fresh food including frozen seafood. Pastries and vegs. Beautiful tasty chicken in sauces and kebabs . Small packets of fresh vegies so you can get an entire meal in one quick shop. JUST BEEN AGAIN AND IMPRESSED WITH SERVICE AND SELECTION OF FRESH MEAT AND FROZEN PRAWNS.
