Bookcafes are way underrated. We need more of them! The cafe food was delicious and the view from our seats was good. The book selections are also great! The staff are extremely friendly. Will definitely be coming back!HOWEVER! IMPORTANT NOTE! (BTW: Not blaming the café, just warning you!) I bought a book from here, I began reading it, and I found a few red stains in quite a few of the pages. I'm not sure how it got there, but if you're buying books from here, just flip through the pages and check for anything.Happy book buying (and eating)!

Cosy bookstore, however the cafe section was disappointing. The table was sticky. Coffee was cold and weak. Croissant was dry. Service was slow and pricey. Won't be returning.

The combination of a book shop and cafe is always what my heart desires.They also sell really interesting gifts, decos and toys. It is a great place to explore for a gift idea and an interesting read.The coffee roast is not my favourite, tho. They have a very bitter after taste. But from the presentation and milk temperature, it seems not caused by the barista's skill, but the machine or the beans.And the friand is a big disappointment. It was really hard and dry when they were supposed to be moise and soft. It looks more like a muffin but does not taste like a muffin either. Probably consider changing a supplier/baker?The recent visit has a counter staff member who seems not to be feeling well on the day and can not stop coughing. I felt sorry for her but also concerned.Will still visit often and hope to see some improvement. ^0^

At around 2:15pm, today (6 May) @ Hornsby store buying takeaway, had an extremely BAD experience with a sales wishing us “GO TO HELL”, clearly be heard by at least one of her co-workers. Manager was not around for us to lodge a complain :-(

The store was beautiful. Loved the bookshops outside the store for their second hand books.Giving a lower rating due to poor customer service:I do wish that two staff members actually greeted me as I entered and also weren't on their phones the entire time I was browsing.Even when I asked for help, it seemed like a bit of an effort for them to answer.

Customer service here really isn’t acceptable. I asked for my cookie to be warmed. I had to ask twice because each time she said no we can’t warm it up because the dates will go all over the plate. Plate came out and dates were not all over the plate. If I want my cookie warmed up, warm it up. Don’t refuse it to the customer. Second star given only because the cookie was yum but I won’t come back after her bad customer service

Bookstore and cafe in Westfield Hornsby overlooking open Plaza below. Interesting selection of books and empty album covers on shelves next to dining area. The avocado and feta on toasted linseed was very average. It could do with some seasoning or dressing.

A very cute and rustic feeling bookstore with the interior cafe and vast collection of books, toys and other Knick knacks, complimented by the shelves on the outside of the store, filled with books that you can have a quick read of. I’ve seen them do signings for some authors and the general vibe here is quite relaxing and homely.The shelves are arranged beautifully and the store is definitely different to the modern bookstores. Feels almost as if you’re in a scene in Harry Potter?? Would definitely recommend coming here if you love reading/books.
