Just Cuts Chermside

I've had 2 really great experiences here, but the last time was terrible, the hairdresser (12yrs experience she said) didn't understand what feathering the ends, and also what Curtain bangs are. Butchered my daughters hair and I had to fix it at home

I was served immediately. The hairdresser was talented and friendly. I liked my hair and the price was great too.

Have previous had good experience with other staff member but Tamara has really put me off going here.Ripped through my fine hair with a brush not being gentle at all. I could hear my hair ripping.I felt uncomfortable the whole time like I was a huge inconvenience. I understand that they were busy but please don’t take it out on me.Really disappointed and a bit traumatised. :(

Booked via the app which was mildly painful - why not just have a website like every other salon? I have enough apps let alone downloading one which I -might- use again like once a year.Then struggled to spot the shopfront in the sprawling, overstimulating mess that is Chermside Westfield. It’s in one of the little side corridors that run perpendicular to the two main ones, on the ground floor. Walked past it three times without seeing it! That one is totally my dysfunctional brain’s fault though.Was offered a spot as soon as I gave my appointment name to the staff member, who then did the haircut. Got a *big* trim on my five year old daughter’s crazy long hair and fringe. Stylist somehow managed to brush her hair without inciting a single complaint, which I’ve never managed in my life (probably shyness on the part of my kid tbh).Engaged her in a super cute chat while working. I had to sit on the waiting bench to watch/wait/fend off 4 stylists looking for their next client.Cost very reasonable.One of the only salons in the centre operating on a... Sunday? Monday? One or the other.Would probs go back.

Hair cut. Good. But wanted to charge me Extra $10. Just to dry off my hair a bit. Not a blow dry. But apparently if they use the hair dryer it is extra. She drowned me when cutting. Just needed it dryer off a bit. Because of the air con. Not happy

I have never had a bad hair cut. Only problem, if are in a hurry, cannot make appt and just put your name down then go have coffee or spend money and they will text when it's your turn. So that's good or bad depending on your perspective lol.

Stated I wanted a trim and curtain bangs. Was told I was probably confusing curtain bangs with face shaping and that 'we'll do face shaping'. Showed the hair dresser how much I wanted taken off and she took off double what I requested.Felt rather rather uncomfortable and like I was an inconvenience who didn't know anything.I'm all for trusting an experts opinion but when I have tried various hairstyles and cuts in the past and know what I want, I want to be listened to and my opinion validated.Will not be going back.

Shelly was amazing and patient while cutting my 3yr and 1yr old childrens hair. Will definitely return.
