Mayflower Restaurant
We have enjoyed many meals here. The menu doesn't change often, so if it is to your taste, you'll be onto a winner. Everything from top to bottom is consistent and in line with expectation. I recommend it!

It was quite an experience. We went there for a High Tea. The restaurant is in the basement, very sophisticated, extreemly elegant, the staff were delightful, the food to die for, and the establishment just perfect. I absolutely loved it and hopefully will go back.

Generally speaking it’s worth 5 stars for me actually. The following is why loosing one star. Firstly, the manager asking us about what drinks we need. He said juice wine and water, we said water and just table water, then he shows very impatient and rude “ just water? No other drinks? U sure? No wine?” Secondly the chips here should be crispy because of triple fried but it’s over cooked and still soft inside. Thirdly the bread surface should be crispy but it’s full of oil and pretty soft. Fourthly the forks is not clean enough it’s a little bit sticky, and the plate is not clean, waiter wipe it again by hand, and still fingerprint on it after serving. At last the dish here is no doubt super delicious, beef Wellington is unbelievable good especially the mushroom sauce under the crispy skin. The win sauce is just make beef’s taste explode in your mouth, they cooked so well in beef and seafood. The scallops and shrimps are super fresh and taste like waking in the spring, some ginger juice makes scallops more refreshing. Anyway guys , come and try I promise the restaurant will be in the top 5 restaurant in my heart around the world. Hope u visit here soon.

Lovely food and service - favourite was lobster bisque and Wellington beef. Cosy restaurant inside the hotel. Accommodated a medium sized group well.

My mum and I had breakfast this morning here as part of our overnight stay at the Mayfair. Very posh looking inside with lovely decor. The breakfast was buffet style and the food I chose was delightful, very tasty. Lovely place to eat.

The food here was so yummy. We had attended a wedding reception here and they catered for the dinner meals. The food was good, service was professional and polite. Then we had breakfast the day after, it was a buffet the food here was also very delishes, there was a good variety of savory and sweats as well as tea, coffee, juices and healthy choices.

The behaviour of the waiter was extremely inappropriate and unprofessional. His use of sarcasm and rudeness towards customers is completely unacceptable. It is disappointing that someone in a customer service position would behave in such a manner, as it negatively impacts the dining experience. The lack of basic customer service skills is evident, and it is important for management to address this issue in order to prevent future incidents.

Excellent dining experience here. Foods are so yummy, seafood platter so fresh. Hi I love the Beef Wellington and traditional garlic bread. Atmosphere and service was perfect too.

Just been to the Mothers Day High Afternoon tea. Absolutely the best in Adelaide. Food, atmosphere and service second to none. Well worth having the Penfolds drinks package to make it extra special

High Tea that was more Low Brow..Firstly this is a review based on our experience" as Coeliac diners who required Gluten Free substitutions; a nutritional requirement that was made aware to the staff four days prior to our arrival.So for those other diners who come here not requiring GF options
