It's great to have a large leash free area, but there is definitely room for improvement.There is no dedicated parking area. This means people have to park on the main road (and there isn't much parking this way either).Secondly, there is a single gate for access, instead of a two-stage access gate. This means it is very unsafe for dogs as people enter and exit the park - very easy for dogs to run out onto the main road.Thirdly, whilst there are a couple of picnic tables, there is absolutely no shade or shelter.If the three issues above were rectified, it would be a 5/5 star dog park - and something that Dubbo desperately needs.

Its a very big area with fresh water, lots of grass and some doggy play equipment to boot. Only critical thing it's missing is shaded areas for humans, the dogs however, will not be complaining.
