I like the trash and treasure where you can find a bargain. Good place to drop of your recyclable goods for free. Old LPG bottles, lead batteries, scap metal, white goods; E waste and cardboard and plastic bottles. ITS A BIG SHAME that dapto is the only place. Where in the northern parts of the wollongong council area can you do the right thing and recycle?

Recycling is great and I try to drop off stuff I couldn't be bothered selling.You can find just about anything.Some stuff is overpriced considering they get it for free. Still a lot of bargains.Have even bought some new items there.Well worth popping in for a look if you like a bargin

I asked for assistance and no one came up to help them proceeded to get my stuff out of the care before being yelled at that it couldn’t go there after loitering waiting for someone to assist me. Very unhelpful staff.

Great place to recycle. You can take there for free - Metal, eWaste(Computers), Cardboard, Battery's, Fluorescent Globes, Oils. The Secondhand hand place is not bad, sometimes a little pricey. The staff are really good. Polite and Professional.

Moved house recently and took 3 car loads to the tip in the last two weeks, something seems really suss with their fees, all 3 loads were household general rubbish which the website states $8.50 per 100kg, first load consisted of half a dozen bags of stuff we didn't want anymore like ruined clothes, broken tupperware, a pillow foot rest and a broken dining table chair, total weight estimated to be less then 20kgs but fee to exit was $16, 2nd visit had a broken storage tub, two thin planks of wood and another half dozen bags of junk again no less then 25kgs but fee was $24 to leave, last visit had half a dozen broken empty milk crates and 1 bag of rubbish and 1 plastic container with a small dog toys in it. Less then 10kgs weight, exit fee $16.With no option to pay cash, no discount for pensioners and ridiculous fee's, No wonder people dump illegally.

Excellent helpful people working there. Everything is set out for easy drive up offloading. You can also buy good building supplys, fencing, bikes, chairs etc all recycled.

One of the ladies who works here is very rude and anti recycling. Yelled at me for putting too many completely clean glass bottles in the glass recycling bin which was practically empty. Wanted me to go and pay money next door to put them into landfill.

Have paid rates for years rarely have to use Whites Gulley, had more than the 20 litre limit of motor oil at 3pm and told to come back tomorrow with the remaining 10 litres of oil because I had to leave room for others. Very disappointing.

First time using this tip. Wouldn’t usually review something like this, but the lady on the leaving payment side was a classic. Love someone that can have a laugh on the job. Great stuff!
