My wife and I recently engaged Accru to provide annual accounting and Tax return services for our SMSF which we have managed for over 20 years. These services had previously been supplied by a large specialist group, with an accountant there who had been responsible for our accounts and with whom we could discuss issues needing clarification. That firm then changed their service model and we were allocated an account liaison person who knew less about accounting or tax that either of us.
