Jhob's Gold Panning Tours

The whole family had a blast. Despite less than ideal weather, Jhob was happy to accommodate us, show us the ropes, and guide us to a healthy dose of gold fever!

We recently had an incredible gold panning experience with Jhob, a local guide who was truly passionate and incredibly knowledgeable. From the moment we met, Jhob's passion for gold panning was contagious, and his wealth of knowledge about the activity was impressive and educational.Jhob's instructions to locate the perfect spot for panning, which involved using the red chimney and grass as landmarks, were both amusing and effective. We found the location with ease and were delighted to spend time learning about the history and geology of the area from Jhob.Jhob's enthusiasm was infectious, and hiya tips and techniques for finding gold were incredibly helpful. They were patient and took the time to ensure that we understood the proper techniques, which resulted in us finding gold in no time!Overall, I highly recommend Jhob as a guide for anyone interested in gold panning. His knowledge and passion for the activity made the experience truly exceptional, and I can't wait to go back and try it again with Jhob as our guide! Cannot recommend enough!

An awesome morning out. We had a brilliant few hours panning for Gold (son managed to find a small nugget much to his delight) and Jhob was both knowledgeable and more than happy to help extract the flakes of gold to be found in the soil. Hill End has a rich and passionate history in gold and Jhob's tours are a fun way to get caught up in the excitement. Very highly recommended and who knows... you may very well start the next Gold Rush.... Eureka
