The Yellow Line
Beautiful and positive public artwork commemorating the arrests of 130 people in 1988 for supporting a Salamanca Market stall run by the Tasmanian Gay Law Reform Group, and the Hobart City Council’s apology 20 years later. The two lightboxes are placed at boundaries of the market past which supporters of the stall would be arrested. Really meaningful words and looks beautiful lit up at night.
