Friendly little café with eclectic menu:we had standard scrambled egg on toast - and fried noodles.There's a menu in Chinese. Sort of reminded me of the little breakfast places in Causeway Bay in Hong Kong.

I like this place and I want to give it a good rating but after the mess I witnessed today, it’s really hard to. I hope they can do better because the food is delicious but the coffees and disorganisation needs attention quickly! Saturday morning was a total disaster. The cafe was not that busy but despite this, the barista couldn’t seem to get anything right. We waited 30 minutes for a coffee which was made incorrectly, then required a further 10 minutes to be re-made. Whilst waiting we witnessed a lactose intolerant customer get an accidental full-cream coffee, other frustrated customers chasing for their orders and one who got so fed up they asked to change their dine-in to a takeaway, only to then wait another 10-15 minutes to get it. The barista was clearly overwhelmed and couldn’t stay on top of orders. She was also not making them in the sequence they came in, so wait times were ridiculous. The cashier did her best to help out but it wasn’t enough. Tables full of dirty dishes were never cleared and customers looked fed up. If you can’t manage something this fundamental to owning a cafe, the competition will surely take you out. Please do better La Moon! We want you to succeed!

First time visit and not disappointed with the experience. An interesting and varied menu. Food we had was very tasty and came out quite quickly; good sized servings and nicely presented. Easy parking outside and you can dine either inside or out.

A bright cheery layout with limited seating (~20) and it was almost full house when I went to check it out at 1pm on a Sun. After placing an order for a karage chicken burger, I was informed it will be a 25+ min wait - the right thing to do I thought would be to inform the customer before taking payment. It turned out to be a 40 min wait before the food was served. I noticed a table of 8 ahead of me, being served food after me so they had a longer wait than me. For a 1 year old setup in such a small eatery, their kitchen workflow may need a rethink.Karage chicken burger - chips were ok but could do with a longer frying. The price has been increased to a gourmet" range but unfortunately the quality of the burger is nowhere near gourmet; while a decent enough bite

Nice atmosphere and relatively good food. But the service is a disaster: I'm all for hiring teenagers but being able to communicate with the customers and knowing the menu items seems like a bare minimum – especially those items for which the place is known. I asked for the little Taiwanese style sandwiches, the teen taking orders looked hesitant but then directed me to an item and caused me to order it, suggesting that she knew. Outcome: the sandwich served was not at all what I queried. Next time, when you're not sure what the customer wants: tell him/her you don't know and go ask your colleagues to help you answer the customer query.

Absolutely adore La Moon Cafe. Dog friendly plus lovely people and food. We took our dog here for the Pupcicles, which he would always gobble up. Thank you for always being amazing!

Great coffee and cakes made in house. All day breakfast and also Asian inspired lunch dishes. I had a chicken teriyaki bowl and is was delish!
