We loved our experience at Hugh Hamilton Wines. The Cellar Door was great value for money and the service was great. The wines were delicious and of the four wineries we visited in McLaren Vale was by far the most delicious. Our group of 10 had a great time.

Oh my, where do I start?! Probably the nicest and most picturesque cellar door we have ever visited. The views paired with outstanding service and delicious wines which are a mix of modern blends and traditional varietals. Highly recommended Hugh Hamilton Wines as a stop on your McLaren Vale tour, a must visit!

As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a friendly smile. The people who work here are genuinely the nicest people! The host made an effort to tell Beth about where we were from which was a nice way to start a conversation. Beth was very friendly and knowledgeable. The views were stunning and the wine was superb! Not to mention the welcome drink with the most amazing cordial. Thanks for having us.

Very cool cellar door with panoramic views of vineyard's and the hills.Staff were very welcoming and offered us lots of interesting info in regarfs to the rich history of the Hamilton's who has been in SA since settlement.

We visited this winery in January 2023. Possibly the prettiest cellar door in the McLaren Vale region. It's a circular room with floor to ceiling windows revealing stunning views across the vineyards and further out across the Vale.A fantastic wine tasting experience with passionate staff who really do understand the wines they are serving and tell wonderful stories about the wine making.Quality wine showing lovely examples of wines from the McLaren Vale region but also showcasing innovative, rule breaking wines as well.A cellar door not to be missed if you are touring the McLaren Vale region.

One of the favorite wineries, beautiful views while sitting sipping wine.Photo is a flashback from a while back when the vines were luscious green. Can’t wait for more trips here, more wine and more food.The service is fantastic here.

Excellent spot to stop by. The cellar door has a 180 degree view of the surround vines. Very picturesque. Plenty of parking too.

Had a fabulous wine tasting at Hugh Hamilton in an incredible setting. The 270-degree tasting room had one of the best views in McLaren Vale of all the wineries we visited! We loved hearing about the history of the winery and the names behind the wines we tasted. Purchased some beautiful wines to take home and can't wait to head back when we next visit the region!

Wonderful wine tasting experience. Will was super friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Great variety of reds. Shearers cut was our favourite. Olives there were also an amazing bonus!
