small but decent station with all the amenities with recent upgrade to elevators and adding wheelchair accessibility. Shop near by. Not crowded. Good alternative to Chatswood for commuting purposes.

I stay at Artarmon and this station is at a walking distance from my home. So, it's very convenient for me to travel via train.

Train staff was very helpful and always smiling. One of the cleanest stations in Sydney. You will never find any rubbish.

Pros:5 Opal card readers at the entrance (Don't have wait much during peak hours.)Cons:No direct access for disabled people to Elizabeth Street (Eastern side of the station)

Great mixture of covered and open areas with dotted trees that round out the station's look. The platform, benches and opal readers are kept clean and the staff are kind and keen to help.The station is situated perfectly in the middle of the township, flanked by restaurants and local businesses. It is a short walk away from the local public school, parks and residential areas. It's also never too far from most significant regions/suburbs in Sydney which is very convenient for travel, shopping, etc.However, it is pretty easy to lose a ton of money by forgetting to tap off. Maybe there would be more signs to remind commuters to tap? The station also gets VERY packed during peak hours. You'll likely miss 1-2 trains because there are just so many people on the platform and already on the trains.

2010 One of my favourite Sydney north shore stations. Our company had Sydney apartments to provide a familiar landing place for out of state and international staff and Artarmon was the location we chose for our first apartment because the station is an easy walk from everywhere and a safe location with shops across the road for last minute purchases before and after a train trip.

Clean and easy to know where I needed to go. An off platform seat would have been nice as I needed to wait for my lift but...

Artarmon Station is a top small station in Sydney and I go there quite a bit.It's well lit, very safe at right (and so is the whole area) and it's accessible via life and stairs.You also get heaps of trains going through and there is no trouble tapping on and off. There are also staff there to help you out as well.Simple and clean too!
