The Junction
The Junction needs a make-over. Staff were friendly and courteous, but food ordered at 12:08 wasn't delivered until 12:42 (not many there; two of three other groups were already eating and the third group only drinking.) Our club sandwiches were tasty and well presented, but somewhat difficult to eat.

Please see attached photo. That is an untouched (bar the lettuce garnish) $18 entree!!! 7 small slivers of calamari!!! Disgusted. NEVER EATING THERE AGAIN. Scabs!!!

Staff are helpful and friendly. Food is very well presented. Food is fresh and garnished. Food is served hour as it should be, golden chips.There are lots of dining options. Specials of the day, Lunch specials($15) steak nights, (Saturday and Monday), Roasts of the Day($9.95), etc. Drinks nice and chilled. See wine list photos- a good selection!We went for lunch and had a lamb roast and vegetables and a seafood basket with chips and salad. Very enjoyable. Will return... see pics.A variety of rooms to sit in with varied tables and atmosphere.Karaoke on Friday nights. Bottle shop and free car parking.All this makes a very good venue.

Usually go to this pub and have a great time, usually gamble $1000 plus with my partner. Walked in tonight 3/3/23 at 11pm and some tape stuck to my shoe near the ATM. As I walked down the stairs I noticed it, missed step and pulled it from shoe, put it on the bar as I ordered my drinks and explained, the manager claimed we were intoxicated. I have a cert III in hospitality and my partner has her cert II, PLUS BOTH OF US HAVE OUR RSA and have about 20yrs+ experience each behind bars and if the manager wasn't trying to look good to the bar tender he was chatting up, I'm sure things would have played out differently, BUT HEY.... EACH TO THEIR OWN. I'm up there all the time, I usually come in late or for their steak on Monday nights and I've never seen him before. The female manager usually looks after us, but this guy makes me never want to go back. McGuire's ask your staff how good he is. I will be writing to corporate in case this doesn't reach you. Writing from the next pub with a beer in my hand. THANKS AGAIN.

Don't go here for dinner, it took forever for the food to come out and the steak was cold (it was medium rare though). Staff were lovely. Probably a good place to get on the beers but definitely not for dinner

I can't comment on the ambiance or service as I got a takeaway, (a one off just for me because I was sick and didn't want to dine in), but the food was excellent! I just got the fish and chips with a side of seasonal vegetables, but the fish was better than most places, and the chips, and the veges. I'm allergic and I almost always have reactions to food like this but not tonight. Even the sauce was exceptional. I don't know if they went all out just for me but my compliments to the chef and The Junction, really good, thank you. :-)

Lovely food good price friendly service but today I was disappointed with the desert because every Wednesday I have lunch there and some times I hv desert last Wednesday I tried tiramisu the new desert was lovely good presentation yummy with large rectangular flat dish with fresh cream on side and raspberry too so 3 elements on dish large flatRectangular shape very nice presentation inviting and yummy !!But this Wednesday i have only tiramisu in clear cup no Fresh cream no raspberry jam to balance the sweetness of tiramisu and no with the sour flavour of jamI was surprised and disappointed I ask the waitress he said last time he did for me but this time the chef did so comes like that !!Then I said to him last week was nice flavour balance with sweetness tiramisu sour jam raspberry and the fresh cream great combinationSo I will not ordered againI wish I can send photos of both of them to Shaw the difference abd the presentation too

Love it here, the lunch deals are great and they have regular discount promotions. The food is always good and the staff are warm and friendly. Great local pub and quiet enough for a good chat in a booth over lunch :)
