Called this company to come and check my heater, they said 140 to attend, attended didn't check anything and said it has error 4 problem, I know that, it's why I called them, he then said $1040 to check it and service it,so 140 was for what, petrol fee, ridiculous, they wouldn't give you that quote over the phone, they said can't until check it, they didn't check, massive Scam company, never use and will let everyone know. Called another who will do exactly what Metropolitan would do for $375, not 1040 + 140 call fee, what a joke, thieves

I DO NOT recommend this company, they conned my wife out of the $150 'call out' fee, I got home from work and some guy from metropolitan heating and cooling melbourne is quoting me $4300 for a basic air conditioning service. I said no and I booked a local small business HVAC company, they charged $280 for the same job.

I should have read these reviews before calling! Lovely customer service girl over the phone took payment for $140 call out fee. Two well presented young men came to look at the unit that was showing a clear fault. They said they needed to service the unit for $1040 first and hopefully" that would clear the fault. If that didn't work

Absolutely disgusted with this company. Started off with a prompt call however,paid a $140 service call only to be quoted another $1,000 to diagnose fault and general service, any more parts or service required (suspected blown fan motor) would have been additional to the $1,000.
