Leanne is knowledgable, dedicated and trustworthy. Recently she sold my property within one week, before it even got listed, negotiated for me a price that I am more than happy with. Unfortunately, we had an unpleasant experience with Jalal and First National Real Estate. To start, from the first time we inspected the property Jalal spent the entire time speaking with an investor and did not acknowledge anyone else at the inspection. Onto the process of purchasing the property, Jalal was dishonest about other offers for the property- telling me the owner had declined a previous offer which we found afterwards was not true. When we asked questions such as how many previous owners the home had or when it was built, Jalal knew nothing about the property. Even a simple response such as “I don’t know but I will find out” would have been appreciated. It was very unprofessional and any homeowner listing their property with him should be weary about the quality of service. He was able to inform us the property was currently being rented and managed by his partner. The single family home was being rented out to THREE families whom kept the property and lawn in horrible condition including smoking in it. Certain rooms in the home smelt so badly of smoke that we spoke with Jalal about the carpets being steam cleaned. He told us the tenants would be required to provide receipts of the carpets being steam cleaned therefore we did not feel the need to put the requirement in the contract. Upon final inspection, we told Jalal the carpets did not look like they had been steam cleaned. His response was that he called the owners and reported back “they’ve been done, you can see the lines.” After settlement, our solicitor kindly asked for Jalal to please get the carpets cleaned and his response was “did you request for them to be done?” Beyond the dishonesty- what was more surprising was the ease of being dishonest. Upon getting to know our new neighbours, they’ve all reported about how horrible the tenants were. I feel sorry for the old owners for dealing with Jalal and and I also feel naive for trusting him. We wouldn’t recommend them to anyone- renting or purchasing.

Great working with property manager Leanne. She was quick and responsive and was able to find me a new tenant in under 2 weeks. Very prompt and good communication. Highly recommended.
