Toys and Tales

Great section of board games, beats zing by a mile and some of the other shops that advertise as a board games shop, which are really more like shops for geeks in general..... which was surprising, since i thought it was a kids toy shop, not a board games shop... they really got a diverse selection from the simple stuff for kids to the more complex ones like scythe and agricola. I picked up Citadels from them. (Not the cheapest, but definitely more cheaper than some of the other vendors online and in store.)However, they also got CAH, and other party card games that is closer to 18+ in nature, so don't let that cute toy that's displayed in front fool you thinking it's a child's store, they got some matured themed stuff in there (in the board games selection).For the rest of the store, selling toys, I didn't pay much attention, but they do have a great collection of many varieties of toys (probably one of the best collections i've seen under one roof), but I do find them pricey.

I had it twice that been reminded by a staff that saying if I am not going to buy please do not touch it. They said it in a nice way like 'we need to keep our toy clean so other people can buy it...' they have automatically assumed I will not buy (but I was actually holding in my hands and decided to go to the counter to pay, that is why I am holding it right?). I think if it was twice then it is not coincidence. I am not going back again, poor customer service.

Very good and friendly staffs. Good collection of toys (mostly lego and building block type), board and puzzles games.

Today I was told that my kids are NOT ALLOWED to touch the toys in this store if we haven't decided what we want to purchase! We all shocked and disappointed as I was a regular customer even though most of the toys in this store are overpriced compared to other toy shops. My previous shopping experience in Toy Tale was quite good as the staffs there were nice and friendly. however, today the guy from Toy Tale proved what a bad customer service" is! we didn't walk away immediately after he made that statement to us because we don't want to disappointed to our kids and we end up bought something from there. but this is definitely our final visit to Toy Tale! A beautiful store with a lovely range of toys. I’ve met some lovely staff members here.unfortunately today the two staff members were quite rude and judgemental. I have a child with special needs and the women were openly making comments about his behaviour. You’d think that the staff would be understanding and compassionate towards children and parents. I left feeling ashamed and embarrassed.

Lovely store 2 ladies were lovely. I bought guess how much I love you toys from here hope they get more back in stock.

Such brilliant toys... the QUALITY version of all those other big-name stores who are always selling for $5 or less (but at what real world cost??). But even if you aren't worried about the social issues around cheap, cheap toys, this store has amazing brands that just aren't available at other places. And they are the type of brands who make toys where you open the box and go WOW - why haven't I been buying this stuff before!

Crowded with poorly designed thorough fares through the store.Okay selection of toys but missing the more popular items around Christmas time.Unhelp customer service - particularly when it comes to returns. They don’t refund so make sure of your purchase.Worst of all, they’re overpriced. Expect to pay 30% premium on most items, even on those that can be found elsewhere.

Wide range of gifts, stationery and hobbies. Keeps kids busy and engaged with fun DIY gift ideas. Very good selection of board games for all ages. High quality of wooden toys. Slightly overpriced. Puzzles and games are excellent.Friendly staff, nice decor, good arrangements. Store is ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for kids stuff.

Love this store. My go-to for all gifts and also just a weekly browse to see what's new. Staff are always friendly and have excellent recommendations and also with click and collect phone orders at the moment. Can't wait till I can visit instore again
