Had a coffee and toasty, really great. OMG, the museum was fantastic. So many different ways to make coffee starting from a long time ago. There would have to be 500 machines, grinders etc... worth a visit.! So many coffee types, it would be nice to try them all. But they don't have tastings. You can smell them. Yum.

Coffee and chocolate lovers won't be disappointed at Coffee Works. My wife and I enjoyed great espresso, hot chocolate made with real chocolate (not powder) and mud cake that's rich and moist (plus a number of different chocolates from the chocolate shop). Great service and a fabulous coffee museum that's definitely worth checking out. The chocolates made on the premises are next level, with flavours and textures that are simply a delight. A wide selection of coffee beans including locally grown. We found all prices quite reasonable. We had high expectations about this place and we were not disappointed. Highly recommended.

Started with a delicious breakfast which came very quick! We had eggs Benedict and signature Hot Chocolate (both pictures) and we're mouth watering. The best hot chocolate I have ever had!We then went into the tastings where we were able to try 25 types of coffee, 12 types of chocolate, 5 types of liquors and 4 types of teas. After a delicious testing was the museum which was full of information and a wide range of gorgeous coffee and chocolate products! Definately a must go for the family or couple.

Had a really pleasant experience a coffee works with visiting from Perth Western Australia to country, Queensland, very accommodating and friendly I had hedgehog slice, which was chocolatey delicious add a mocha, which consisted of warm milk a block of chocolate to be melted in the drink and espresso coffee on the side pored in Marooba also had a coffee museum. All traits are made on site including coffee beans which are growin there will be ordering when I get back to W.A. apparently everything is available online and they are well known for having good turnover my friends who are like family to me also bought a parrot clock from there. They have a right range of knickknacks that you could buy for around $99-$200 a packet really well ready for travel if you're coming from another state such as us travelling on virgin Airways back to Western Australia. Can't wait to come again next year

Second time in which I visited here. A little museum on site which was free to see. Small sized gift shop on site. An area which had a variety of chocolate products available for purchase, which were a little pricey. Plenty of coffee available for purchase. A cafe section to sit in and enjoy a coffee, which I tried was not too strong for my liking and hot. Friendly service whom were very accomidating. Worth the stop to see.

I was excited to see that Coffee Works had a food menu again. There weren't many offerings, but the selection was OK. I got the waffles and they were served to me in a cardboard box, which was a bit of a surprise. Unfortunately the waffles were a little burned on the bottom, which seemed to make them stick to the paper inside the box. So I was a little disappointed. But since this local venue has been great in the past, I will keep trying. I certainly recommend it if you don't want food, and are just looking for a place to chat over coffee.

A coffee, chocolate and gift shop tucked away in the back blocks of Mareeba. It is well worth finding that has a prominent sign on the highway. We were welcome by friendly staff and the coffee scones with strawberry jam and cream were to die for. First time visit but will go again.
