MAD Wholefoods

I love MAD. They have a great range of nuts, dried fruits, flours, pastas etc. even spices, tea, oils, and GF options! All carefully selected for quality and to be environmentally and ethically sound. I love being able to take in my own containers to fill and the team are friendly, helpful and so knowledgeable. A little shop making a BIG difference.

Rob is always so knowledgeable and helpful. He makes great suggestions on how to use products and his stock is always fresh. I just adore his dry roasted almonds, but it is the little treats he has that are so good. He is happy to sell you the tiniest bag of yummy turmeric dark chocolate walnuts (who knew something so weird could taste so good!)

MAD Wholefoods has great dried produce and cleaning products, most of which you can put into your own containers to save on packaging and waste. Most of all I love the Drop and Run service; yesterday I left my jars with Rob with my shopping list to rush into town, and when I returned it was all picked, labelled and ready to go!

I am a regular customer of MAD Wholefoods and every time I have an amazing experience! The sustainable options available here are incredible and the selection is simply outstanding. Getting as much of your grocery shop at MAD as possible is a no-brainer. MAD is often considerably cheaper than buying premeasured, prepackaged foods from major supermarkets, and obviously the produce is much higher quality. Take control what you're eating - you'll leave with a smile on your face, healthier food in your home, and a few extra dollars in your pocket. Waste less food, waste less plastic, and waste less time and money on major corporations that don't care about you at all.

Gorgeously fresh and extensive range of healthy products. Rob - the owner - was so helpful and even offered for me to leave my recipe and he would bag up all the items while I popped out for a coffee. Fabulous service and good pricesCath

Exceptional quality and great value food and products that are also supporting local and Australian suppliers. Rob and team are lovely and go out of their way to help you find what you need. The highest quality flavour in all their produce, which is also good for you. Addicted to their natural peanut butter and chocolate coated dehydrated strawberries.

Mad Wholefoods is an absolute asset to Summer Hill! Robs commitment to zero plastic is a reason to shop there alone. However, the reason doesn’t stop there. Whether you want to uplift an evening meal with Porcini Fettuccine (an absolute must try!) or delight your pals at a picnic (yummy sodas, sweets and snack), it would be remiss not to stop by :) some of my favs are the almond feta (I’ve tried a lot of dairy free alternatives and this comes out on top), Australian dried mango, raspberry dark choc licorice, the Drunken Sailor Stout & Chipotle seeded mustard and the porcini fettuccine!Rob is also super helpful and lovely :)
