Platinum Physiotherapy

I Went to see platinum physiotherapy about a long term achilles injury. Unfortunately their customer service was poor. After seeing Kim, I found her to be disinterested and unengaged, with no genuine care or follow through.Without ANY 'hands on' testing or properly looking at my scan results, I was told to go against my surgeons request of a moonboot. Kim recommend I take nurofen max dose for 2 weeks followed by a rehab plan. After questioning the reasoning behind this, and explaining my intense pain concerns, she simply said to forward any questions to my GP! Furthermore she then continued with vague or non related responses of my attempts to seek further clarification. This was after I went into great detail telling her how I'd already spent a considerable amount of time visiting numerous doctors... Her response to see another doctor! - This women doesn't know how to read a room!It seems Kim didn't want to spend a few moments via email helping me understand a few things so I could get get stated, and was more happy to make me wait a further 2 weeks before she would be happy to clarify my concerns at our next appointment"Money comes first with these guys.Don't waste your time with this practise."

My name is Jim and I count my lucky stars everyday that I walked into platinum physiotherapy all the way back in 2017.Firstly I want to express my absolute admiration of the entire teams commitment to hygiene and health and safety during the pandemic. I have attended Helen’s Wednesday morning’s Pilates class every week during the pandemic (except a few weeks due to a foot injury) and every time the cleanliness and hygiene always exceed my expectations.My gratitude towards Helen for help in overcoming my injuries over the years can not but overstated. For all the chronic pain I suffered Helen was never intimidated by any of it. I could go on about my injuries but that would make for a very long story, whether it was severe tendinitis or my torn shoulder or my shattered ankle it has been Helens immeasurable patience and depth of knowledge of the human body and understanding of pain it suffers that has helped me not just overcome my injuries but also keep them from returning. There’s no denying rehabilitation took a whole lot of my own commitment persisting with all the exercises I was advised to do at home and I could have been happy with getting rid of my hamstring but it is the abdominal strength that Helen helped me gain that I value most because I drew upon said strength more then I could imagine when I shattered my ankle cycling in the bush in March this year (see attached X-ray). With a broken leg and dislocated ankle, inch by agonising inch, I had to crawl on my hands and knees for 55 minutes straight just to reach phone reception. Then once I had phoned emergency services I had to do sets of the Cobra exercise on and off for the next 1.5 hours to stave off hypothermia until the ambulance arrived.Given all this, Helen’s guidance with recovery help, training, knowledge, inspirational patience and discipline has all been more valuable to me then the total sum of any known currency.

Kim is amazing, after a fall at work Kim has been looking after me and the staff are incredible. Such a professional and caring inviroment.

I have been having trouble with my hip since I had a knee operation I went in today to Kim and she did a fantastic job and I am feeling much better already

I've seen Kim twice and was happy to continue with her method, not hands on so no immediate pain relieve. Uses exercise methods for long term. So obviously twice not seeing any results. However my issue is I rang and left a message on Saturday to say needing to cancel Monday afternoon appointment due to having to get a Covid test.I rang again Monday morning to confirm and rebook. Receptionist informs me I'll lose my $50 holding deposit as I didn't cancel on a working day. If that's the way they want to run a business during a pandemic I won't be using them/ Told the girl I won't be back!.So much for doing the right thing. Money hungry much

Have been seeing Kim for a few months now and her treatment for my back & arm issues have proved successful. She is on time and genuinely wants to see the best outcome for her clients. Highly recommend!

paid $100 for 10 minutesYou phoned and tried to defend your ridiculous excuse for how I was treated instead of replying to my email in writing like any other professional would. I was never offered a refund, and when I went to a different GP the next day he advised that he has had so many complaints about your service and would never refer anyone to your service in future. This was not physiotherapy it was a lecture and if you think it's ethical to charge $95 for a 10 minute lecture without any history (as I was rushed in before I even filled out this part) then your idea of service is seriously disturbing.
