WHY ARE THERE ONLY FIVE STARS?. I bought a Speed Queen SPQ top loader, after having enormous problems with a SAMSUNG piece of rubbish. Knowing how good Speed Queen units are I took the plunge on an almost $2000 unit. WOW. Absolutely stunning performance and quality. But the REAL PERFORMANCE and QUALITY is with F.L. COSTELLO & CO. A small front plastic panel (the back of the dials and switches) was broken at the ends; it was not causing any harm nor affecting the brilliant functioning of the product, just slightly unsightly. I rang them, expecting them to fuss about it. They were brilliant. They thanked me, took my machine's serial number and promised to get a technician out soon. I did tell them it was not important, but it WAS important to them. Bearing in mind we live some 70-80kms away from their offices/warehouse/showroom, I expected to have to wait months. Within a week, they made contact, booked us in for a service call- then did the almost unthinkable- THEY TURNED UP ON THE DAY, ON TIME!. The cover split again and I called them once more after almost 3 years, expecting a hefty call-out and replacement fee- ZILCH, plus they once again showed the utmost respect by arriving, replacing and testing the unit when they said they would. Imagine that from your local Harvey Norman, J.B. HiFi or any other store!.In the next 12 months we are completely gutting our kitchen and need several new appliances and despite being 4 kms from a Harvey Norman, will be driving the 80 kms into Costello's with the satisfaction of knowing that this really IS a company which cares- unlike so many others nowadays. THANK YOU COSTELLO'S for restoring my faith in the otherwise lacklustre retail business.

Without any doubt if you want to purchase their quality products with fantastic after sales service, this company is it. They are really customer focused, and even their employees are extremely happy. I could not imagine they would have an unhappy customer. Good on you F.L.
