Boardwalk Bistro on Hastings
On the boardwalk with a relaxing view of the beach. Quick service, and the friendly staff went out of their way in service, bought out pancakes with a candle and everyone joined in on the happy birthday song for a little girl and her family sitting next to us. Loved the farmers plate I ordered, beautiful fresh produce.

Boardwalk Bistro on Hastings
Went for dinner last night. Couldn’t fault the place. It was romantic with views of the beach and sound of the waves. The French staff were amazing, they bent over backwards. Entrees were huge. The salad with the calamari was amazing ! Portions for dinner were big as well. I had the chicken, it was mouth watering, my husband had the lamb and he is a picky eater but he smashed it… it was that good he said ! They even offered us free dessert but I was too full to eat anymore. The wine list was varied and priced accordingly. We had a nice bottle of cab sav. Thoroughly was an enjoyable experience. Not over priced

Boardwalk Bistro on Hastings
Extremely popular restaurant looking on to Noosa Beach.We called in for breakfast and even though they were very busy, they fitted us in easily and it wasn't too long a wait for coffee plus food.Great friendly service with coffee and food to match.Had the omelette, was perfectly cooked and plenty of taste.

One of our favourite places to bring our overseas visitors, less than 1 hr from home and never fails to impress our friends, this time they came from Holland and we recommended having the barramundi, which neither of them had tried before.It was cooked and served to perfection.I had the entree calamari as a main size, once again perfect, service was excellent, super friendly and efficient, these guys really know how to do it.Overall another great lunch, beautiful view of the beach whilst enjoying a cold beer as well and we'll certainly be back again soon.Highly recommended.

Boardwalk Bistro on Hastings
My family and I were very excited for our dinner reservation here. However we could not have been left more disappointed! Our booking was 5-630pm, orders were taken at 5:10 but food didn’t arrive until 5:45. At 6:05 we asked to see the dessert menu however we were told our table was needed at 6:15pm and dessert wasn’t an option unless we got takeaway. We told them our booking was until 6:30, the manager then became extremely rude to us. Never have we ever experienced such terrible service from any restaurant. Whilst the food was lovely the service from this lady was terrible. I actually think she enjoyed being so rude to us. When customers are spending a lot of money to eat in your restaurant and you have such short seating times it’s your responsibility to ensure they are served meals in a timely manner.After seeing these reviews, I know we aren’t the only ones who have been through this.I highly recommend you try another restaurant!

Boardwalk Bistro on Hastings
Have been here for afternoon oyster happy hour and dinner . The oysters were extremely fresh Coffin Bay oysters and they were delicious. For dinner we had the mussles main as an entree to share and the c seafood linguine and seafood risotto. Both were terrific. The risotto was cooked perfectly and reasonable amount of seafood (which was very fresh). The linguine was also fantastic, perfectly cooked and the sauce very tasty. Also had a reasonable amount of fresh seafood. Note that the portion sizes are not large.Lastly, the service was impeccable.

Boardwalk Bistro on Hastings
New favourite Hastings Street breakfast place for the family. Great atmosphere, great service (The French waiter is a real character!), And the food is simply incredible and it arrives in great timing. Can't wait to return again.
