West Tamar Health.The same simple prescription I've been getting for years.Firstly, without exception your abruptly asked, if you'll hold, as soon as they answer, whereby they're not actually asking me, they're telling me to hold!$10 to pick up a script that apparently 'may' be done at the end of the day on Tuesday, where she'll try to get him/ the doctor to do the script.Since when is a surgery too busy to even commit to having a script prepared after two days that costs $10 to physically pick up...what a joke! That's progress!?

A friend of mine came here whilst we were visiting, signed up no problem, the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Great service here from the doctor. There's a cafe next to it in the same building, and even an art gallery. We spent the afternoon perusing, had lunch and a great coffee.

Booked appointment, few questions and notes before referral letter, $79. Told to come back for results. 2nd visit, results discussed, blood pressure actually measured (by machine), $79. I can appreciate 1st consult fee, even if there wasn't a single hand laid on me examination wise, but to get charged that again just to get the results smacks of profit mongering Paul, and I think the ethics of good medicine have been obscured by the $ sign. At least take my temperature next time!

Absolutely disgusted in the response from this Paediatrician. Referred by our doctor to this clinic so we can be see ASAP. Only to be laughed at by reception in regard to been seen within the month and told our son has been triage as level 2 and we will have to wait 3+ Months. I am beyond frustrated.I will take my son somewhere who ACTUALLY cares about the well-being of him. ANOTHER doctors appointment tomorrow to organise ANOTHER referral to a clinic ANYWHERE on the north half of Tasmania.

The WORST experience ever at this disgusting horrid place! Dr Sarah & Julie Clifford (manager) are complete & utter Rip off Merchants!! They JAM people in and SCAM each one, especially the elderly. Please DO NOT GO to this clinic!!! I have reported this to the 'Department of Health' & 'Medicare' & taking legal action against them.They need to be exposed for their deceitful practices here. They have NO ethical values at all & it's all about the $$$$$$$ & scamming people!I waited 40 mins & got seen for 5 mins each time, with people already lined up & was then expected to pay for the results. Dr Nuttel fraudently made claims on my Medicare without consent! They probably do this to all the patients (unless you check with medicare you will not be aware of it)Please, please, please do not sent any of your family or friends here.I want to alert people so they do not have to endure what I personally endured.Please take note if this warning!

Pretty much useless. Not taking new patients, have no waiting list. Told me they have 5 doctors on leave, and when I asked when the doctors were returning the receptionist dodged the question with well as soon as they return

What is wrong with the attitude and entitlement of the reception staff here. As a new patient I feel very unwelcome, condescended and ultimately offended. Please try to retrain staff in basic manners or look into hiring new staff and phasing out the current.

Rude Karen’s on the phone as receptionists. They cannot wait to get you off the phone, if you can’t provide duty of care to future/present patients then go elsewhere. This is your job. I love my doctor there but to ring up it’s a nightmare.

West Tamar Health have been very helpful when it comes to caring for my baby. As a first time Mum it is reassuring to know that they have a genuine concern for the well-being of little ones (and their anxious parents). Thus I highly recommend this practice.
