Anita is not only a skilled and talented photographer, but a genuinely lovely person. Her photos are wonderful and the photo sessions with her are so relaxing. Highly recommend.

What makes a treasured family photo? Sure, technical factors such as understanding lighting, composition etc etc are a great start. The photos that you particularly adore though are those that capture a significant moment in time authentically. This is why we are so pleased with the memories that Anita has been able to capture for us!! Anita has a unique combination of excellent technical skills but even more importantly a gift of putting everyone at ease.We first got in touch with Anita to arrange a pregnancy and newborn shoot. She made us feel comfortable right from the start and was very helpful in assisting us to document the pregnancy journey in a way which very much reflected what we were hoping to capture.Anita's bona fide baby whisperer credentials truly came into play when she came to our house to photograph our little newborn. As rookie parents we had little idea what to do with the bundle we brought home. Never fear, Anita is amazing with the little ones and was so patient. As a result, she was able to capture a wonderful set of photos from the early days of our little boy's life.We have loved the pregnancy and newborn photos since we first saw them. We only really began to appreciate their true significance when we were looking through them before Jack's first birthday.We are so happy that we decided to ask Anita to come back to photograph Jack for his 1st Birthday. Anita made the day so much fun!! Having Anita over was the best part of the whole day!! She truly made the sun shine despite the heavy rain. More fun than a party and we just <3 <3 <3 love these photos so much!!

Where to start! Anita is an absolute professional in all aspects. As soon as you get in contact with her she makes you feel comfortable about the process, especially throughout the photoshoot. She is incredible with children, friendly and talented to be able to get the shots that she does, it isnt easy. Anita was amazing for our newborn photo shoot. She had so much patience and care during the photoshoot, having to juggle our 3 kids, and we love the photos, they turned out so great!

Anita from Cocoon has an amazing ability to capture beautiful moments with the photo's being so effortless and natural. We have had the pleasure of having Anita do our newborn and family photo's for our 3 children over the past 9 years and we are always so pleased with the worked she produces. We had a premature baby, who was released very quickly from hospital. Anita from Cocoon Studios managed to book us in to capture those precious early days.To say she was incredible with our baby is an understatement. She took her time with the shots to ensure each photo was perfect. We were so happy we booked in for a family shoot recently, also stunning photos.I would not trust anyone else with these memories. If you want a friendly professional who works hard to get your photos to you quickly, Anita is the one for you.

Being a learning photographer Anita took me under her wing in her mentoring course, Intro to Photography. Cant recommend anyone else or any higher. She was absolutely fantastic very thorough and clear. Very relate-able, got on very well and very friendly. She made me feel super comfortable and very supportive. She has guided me and helped me believe in myself and with the continues support i have nothing stopping me now.
