Haltech Electrical and Gas

Not responsive, ignores your calls, took nearly a month to get a part, gets part then another 10 days to come fix asked if they were busy when here fixing guys response was no and knocking off early! Def would not recommend to anyone!

Disappointed with Haltech in general. Staff did not call us back to schedule an appointment despite promising to do so. Twice. Appointment was finally scheduled with 8 days delay. Electrician came for just 10 min and concluded we needed a part for replacement (quote to be sent later). Quote came back at almost double the electrician's estimate and around 70% of the machine's retail price. Got a friend to look at the machine, who realised there is a separate issue not discovered by the electrician.

Yet another Beko repair. Waited over a month and still nothing. Been told that they're waiting for Beko parts which I've chased up with Beko. The part was then rushed delivered to them and Haltech only confirmed to me that the part was delivered after I contacted them several times.Then I was told Monday was the earliest over the phone so I took time off work to wait for them. Only to receive an email after I asked only for them to tell me it's the following Monday. After confirming over the phone it's the current Monday.They've only contacted me once at the start of the warranty process. All the other communications were initiated by me, including chasing up the parts with Beko and getting the repair booked in.Noted that Beko and Haltech are passing the blame to each other with Haltech stating work cannot be scheduled until parts arrived while the other states that it is up to Haltech to order the parts in; leaving the customer to organise and chase both of them up.

Excellence with integrity!Finding a skilled tradesperson is hard enough, but finding one who is honest, and won't over-charge is extremely difficult.David was recommended by a friend, and he proved to be technically excellent, easy to deal with, helpful, honest and definitely gave great service and amazing value.I Absolutely recommend this company! 10/10.

Very poor communication from this company, as a Beko service agent the first warranty claim took many follow up calls and emails to get responded to. Fix one issue and another is still present.For an intermittent washing machine water leak and they are not willing to attend without me first agreeing to a callout fee for an intermittent fault (which it won't leak when they come). Pretty poor customer service, disappointing and still no closer to getting resolved.

Haltech have looked after all my commercial gas and electrical work for the last few years. They have been great and responsive even when given short notice or emergency work is required.

Fantastic electricians. Workers are extremely knowledgeable about the machines they service. Generally very prompt, polite and accurate communication. Slight hiccup recently due to staffing issues but that is a common problem in today's age. The owner personally went out of his way to work through the work back up.You will notice most of the lower reviews on here are coming from owners of Beko products. From my own investigation, Beko is the cause of the issues, they fail to pass on work communication. They also have no proper log of what they've done on job requests. Was told for weeks my part had been sent to Haltech before they admitted they hadn't even processed the item to be sent yet.

David does everything he says he is going to do. He shows up on time, works hard and does a great job. Very approachable and gives good advice. Highly recommended. Always fun to watch a guy tall enough who doesn't need a ladder to change a smoke alarm.
