The best lamb loin chops we have ever had in all our travels both within Australia and overseas. THe young man that served me was so friendly and professional. Wish we could shift the staff and butcher shop to around the corner from our house at Hove South Australia. ps we had magnificent meat from the butcher at Maldon but I think Clunes beat them hands down. I have just cooked and eaten the Rump Steak I bought from this butcher on Thursday . Well it must rate as the best Rump I have ever eaten , and in saying that, I have eaten many rump steaks in my life . I can’t wait to cook the leg of lamb that is sitting in the fridge. I’ll let you know tomorrow night as to how that has rated .Thank you !!

Popped in looking for something special for a Birthday celebration. Michael recommended the lamb cutlets and also the sauce from across the road at the IGA. I grew up on a sheep farm and almost never eat lamb (because that was all we ever had) but these were perfection. 15-20 mins in the oven on 190. The Birthday boy can have one for tomorrow. They worked out to be about $5 each so we're very happy with that considering the taste, size and effort that had been into raising and preparing each cutlet including perfect frenching. Nice work Michael, Rhys and Kendal. Thank you
