Smerdon Lodge Motel
We were looking for a dog friendly place to stay & we found here. Christine was friendly & helpful over the phone. Older style motel but Smerdon Lodge Motel had everything we needed. Centrally located, clean, comfy bed, we could bring our dog & even supplied a light breakfast. Great value & friendly. Recommended - especially if you have a dog. Thank you Christine. See you again.

Smerdon Lodge Motel
Just an overnight stay. We were upgraded. Place was quiet clean and warm. The receptionist was so friendly and helpful. Nothing was to much. The free breakfast room was fantastic. Great value. Will stay again definitely.

Service was impeccable, clean pool - separate pool towels supplied! Well made room, new quiet split system, incredible breakfast spread! So impressed. Will stay here every time we come to Horsham.

Smerdon Lodge Motel
It's budget and OK but wouldn't be my first choice. Be prepared for noisy rooms due to the freight track and trucks accelerating up the road. The rooms could do with an update. There was air conditioning which worked well but 2 x older units in the room had not been taken out. The cupboard opened up onto the back of the fridge too.

A wonderful gem of a place to stay. So comfortable, clean and affordable. Very impressed with the breakfast. And we loved the artwork in our rooms

Lovely little place. Quiet , friendly staff , only suggestion would be to keep pool clean as it didn’t look very inviting. Air conditioner also works a treat.

Smerdon Lodge Motel
This is the perfect place for a good value stopover and has everything you need after a day on the road. The motel is a bit dated, but the room itself was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the shower had good water pressure and was hot! It was cold the night we stayed and the staff had already turned the heating on and the room was warm for us on arrival. Also, you get a good breakfast in the price, and it’s the real thing, in a dedicated room with juice, toast (all major types of bread offered incl. GF) a good variety of cereals, fruit & yoghurt, tea & coffee. All this for about $100 a night for 2 people I thought it was great value. Added to this the manager Christine was super friendly and helpful.

The place is past its renovation stage. Cracked tiles, very tight bathroom, bed needs replacing , towels are way past there used by date, turning cray from green. Skin feels itchy just been here. Owners , time to move up with the times. Plenty of potential here to capitalise.

Smerdon Lodge Motel
We booked a family room for four travelling adults and two small dogs. The rooms were comfortable, pet friendly and seemed to have soundproofing as we didn’t hear a peep from neighbouring pups. The wifi was fast and the free continental breaky was great (with all sorts of breads, cereal, fruit, yoghurt) and lactose and gluten dietary needs catered for. Highly recommended for travellers with pets.
