The Bower Estate

The Bower Estate was the perfect venue for our wedding! Not only are the grounds spectacular, the team are so wonderful and professional, making every aspect of planning our wedding a breeze. We had the best day ever and all of our guests complimented us on both the venue & the service from the staff. The food & drinks were delicious, the ridgeway team were fantastic, and all of the small, thoughtful things the Bower team did throughout the evening (like duct taping guests broken shoes!) made us so glad we chose them as our venue. We could not have asked for a better day!

The Bower is one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Southern Queensland, and it was a dream to get married there. From the initial venue tour, through to booking and organisation, the team were great to work with. The day was flawless, the Bower event coordinators and caters were spectacular, and there were many comments on how great the food and service was. Can’t recommend them highly enough!

We had our wedding in April 2023 and I can highly recommend The Bower Estate! All the staff throughout the planning process to our wedding day were awesome and professional. The planning tool they use is excellent in keeping all the information in one place and made the planning easy. The staff onsite on the special day made it so easy for me to relax and get ready as they took care of everything. The estate is beautiful with lovely views. The Ridgeway Catering were amazing and the food was great. We got so many compliments on the great the catering service and the food. Thank you for everything!

The most amazing wedding location. Everything was perfect for our day. The Bower team and Ridgeway catering are very helpful. Food is delicious! Could not fault anything. Definitely recommend if you are on the hunt for a venue.

We were married at The Bower Estate in September 2021. The venue is breathtakingly beautiful. The venue staff have thought of everything (and I really mean everything!), it made planning our wedding day incredibly stress-free and the day itself went smoothly. We didn't have to think of anything as it had all been thought of for us! Our guests loved the venue and we've had nothing but glowing reviews of the venue and the staff on the day. 100% would recommend. The Bower Estate is an incredible wedding venue! It has everything you need for an amazing wedding day, with picturesque locations and a stunning gazebo. From early planning to the day itself the Bower team were so very helpful, especially our coordinator Anna, who was so easy to work with and very accommodating to all our requests. Our day was simply perfect and I cannot thank Anna and The Bower enough for making our wedding dreams come true.

My now-husband and I recently got married at the Bower Estate. Put simply, it was perfection and we had absolutely no regrets!We had spent quite a while researching venues and had gone to see a couple prior to the Bower. However, when we drove up to the venue, that was it for us - it was absolutely stunning! Nestled in between two gorgeous national parks, you are welcomed by mountains, trees and green lawns. It feels so natural and not the least bit overdone. We knew then and there that it was the place for us.The Bower staff made the planning process straight forward, providing a wonderful list of recommended vendors (which we definitely took advantage of), quickly responding to any questions we had leading up to the day, and organising meetings to comb out the fine details. They worked with us to ensure that our vision came to life and that everything went seamlessly on the day.There is a bridal cottage on premises in which the bridal party can get ready in the morning. It is adorable and well equipped. However, be aware that there is an additional fee for using it.The ceremony site options are lovely, they have a wet weather option as well (although doesn't hold as many guests), and the venue works for larger weddings. We had nearly 120 people, and while some were standing during the actual ceremony, everyone had a comfortable place for the cocktail party and reception. Additionally, they have a buggy that can assist guests with mobility concerns from the ceremony to reception areas.Now, let's talk catering - simply delicious! Honestly, all of our guests were raving about the food after the wedding and for good reason. They had a number of options to choose from with regards to canapés and the dinner as well as serving options (i.e., alternate drop vs. feasting style). In addition to that, they took care of all of our guests with dietary requirements throughout the night. While we didn't necessarily have the option of sampling the food prior to the wedding, the caterer provided us with a voucher for their restaurant(s) in the Gold Coast area, which allowed us to get an idea of their style and quality of food prior to the day.The marquee for the reception is beautiful - all dressed in fairy lights, it is magical at night. Everyone was comfortable and there was enough room for all of our guests (with a dance floor). The wait staff was incredible - they were attentive, so incredibly polite, and efficient. I cannot recommend the staff more! A member of the wait staff ensured that my husband and I had everything we needed throughout the night as well; I felt truly spoiled.From start to finish, the Bower Estate was a wonderful experience and I wouldn't have changed a thing!

The bower estate was the most amazing venue for our special day. All of our quests were amazed with how beautiful the venue was. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our day was well planned and ran smoothly. They were FABULOUS! The ridgeway catering team were extremely professional and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious the food was. The Bower Estate made all our dreams a reality. We wish we could relive the day over and over again! Highly recommend.
