Disappointing service! Demanded to see the ID of my 43 year old friend just bystanding while I tried to buy a drink. Refused to accept their foreign proof of identity when produced. We just went to a different shop - no issues.

Small (by Dan Murphy standards) but well stocked and friendly. I screwed up the delivery store and they transferred the stock from one shop to another so that I did not have to make another trip. Lines are generally short and the shelves well stocked.

The staff are amazing! We went to Tuggerah to buy a nice bottle as a thank you gift and they were unfortunately not in stock. We were then told they were in stock at Bateau Bay and they were.put away for us. When we arrived, they took the time to not only get us what we were after, but also help us find a few extra things, answer a some questions and give us some great ideas.

Staff can’t handle a diverse customer base. I wasn’t born in Australia but I‘ve lived on the Coast for quite a few years now. Got asked by a staff member if I was a tourist because I have a little accent. That’s extremely rude, offensive and a no-go!! Won‘t go there again. I’m sick of people who think that everyone who has an accent is a tourist or doesn’t belong here. Train your staff properly!
