Like to think I know a bit about Chinese food as I have been eating it consistently for over 50 years but Chung Wa's Combination Short Soup is up there with the best of them.Also had delicious Prawn cutlets and service was excellent.Highly recommend and being byo is an added bonus.

Ordered Singapore noodles which was very dry and not much flavour and Satay Prawns which was absolutely tasteless with no hint of Satay. Very disappointed, would not recommend.The glass shop front was also filthy, certainly needs a clean.

Lovely Chinese food and very friendly staff. We enjoyed our meal here. Definitely recommend this place.

Short soup not much flavour/taste, Prawn Cutlets tasted like frozen and fried a bit too much with the smallest bit of lemon and no sweet and sour sauce.Fried rice for me inedible. It was just rice topped with about 3 prawns and about 5 peas nothing else.Chicken omelette only just. Plenty of sauce with not much flavour/taste.The front windows of the shop needed a good clean.

Probably the worst Chinese food I've had in a long time.Mongolian lamb was tasteless/bland, sweet and sour pork and the honey chicken had way too much batter.Fried rice had way too much soy sauce and was very dark in colour and didn't taste nice.We also had prawn chips which were stale.Wouldn't recommend this place.

A lovely dine-in experience. The manager, Alice was very friendly & helpful with meal choices. The chilli & garlic king prawns were very tasty & fresh. Great serving sizes too

This restaurant is a hidden gem of Tuncurry. The food was delicious and the service is excellent. The wait time on the meal was minimal, and food portions compared to other Chinese restaurants I've visited, were huge and great value. The wait staff( restaurant manager) was very pleasant and helpful and being it's a BYO restaurant she offered us the use of the fridge for my beer and a cooler for the wife's wine. Would definitely go back or recommend. Only negative I could pick was the pushing of a tip at the end of the night. We spent $75 between the 2 of us and I could see a family doubling that figure and Don't agree that a tip should be featured on the bill at the end of the night, it should be an option not a given in my opinion. I would however of tipped anyway without being asked.

We were a large group and chose set menu 2 with a few extra dishes. The meals were large well flavoured. Enough for all of us. Waitress was attentive and helpful.Thankyou also to the chef.
