The park itself seems great. It would be better in my opinion if the playground was fenced in. Being so close to water and a good meter drop off the wall to the sand, it can make it an exhausting day with a toddler who wants the water. For adults or older children, this can be a nice day out, picnic lunch etc

Lovely park to go grab a coffee and sit and relax and watch the world go by. Good choice of cafe's nearby. Often take a book and just sit or swim in the river. Also superb maroochy beach just round the corner. Good park for families and groups. It's also a superb park for our shrine of remembrance to remember the fallen and merchant navy persons. Very lucky to have this park down the road from home.

A beautiful spot for a picnic or a dip. Ideal spot for paddle boarding.There is an amenity block, picnic shelters and a playground, so it's a great spot for families.There is a 2 hour parking limit Monday to Sunday, 8:30am to 5pm.

Cotton Tree has been one of our locals since I was the age my daughter is now, love doing our afternoon sunset walks.

This park has got it all: stunning views of the Maroochy River, multiple playground equipment areas, a strip of sandy beach (no waves), covered tables, BBQs, toilets and loads of concrete pathways for bike riding, skating and scootering.

Love it, clean and nicely organised playground with many tables and toilets around. Stunning view on the river. Very busy on the weekends but love it all year long. Probably one of our favourites playgrounds on the coast. Many cafes and restaurants around. Great spot for families:)

Great picnic spot or for a splash in the water (depending on the tide and current, which can be fast running)
