Great place to stay near the lovely town of Mareeba. Spacious sites in quiet bush setting, nice elevation, great value. Must be self contained.

Best caretakers ever. Great fire pit around 5pm, great way to meet people. Grounds are lovely

A terrific spot just outside Mareeba with lots of bird life and wildlife. Walked down to the Dams each morning and watched beautiful sunsets

Great getaway just over an hour's drive from Cairns. Self cater @$5pp/night.

Very peaceful but has the occasional vehicle going past on the highway, beautiful sunsets, good walking tracks but keep in mind this is around the MAREEBA area so yes it's dry and no it's not very green but we loved it ❤️ . . There is two (2) different areas over 150 acres. This first part which is off Paglietta Rd, Chewko, (where you pay for your stay at the office Van ) this is unpowered sites so you must be self contained but they do have a Dump point, toilets + a shower. The second area is just opposite the look out on Chewko road, it has power + water sites for approx 12 Vans, Motor homes or camping trailers. It does have one toilet & shower available. Both have a firepit + firewood to use. Norm is the owner and very lovely + helpful. We'll be back.

Lovely views, so much space and there are endless parking options, has 2 dams you can fish in, toilets, showers, dump point. Very cheap as well. Owners are friendly.
