Bakery & Cafe – Banjo’s Burnie
Busy coffee/bakery shop in the middle of Burnie. Coffee was brought to our table outside. The coffee was pretty average but the bakery items looked great. Seemed busy with locals so always a good guarantee.

Went and had lunch at Banjo's today. There seemed to be plenty of variety available, with lots of savoury items like pies and sausage rolls and a wide assortment of delicious looks sweet treats like rolls and tarts. If you need any gluten free products, you will not find them here though, so if you have any coeliacs in your group, you will need to go elsewhere. On this occasion, I had a party pie and a traditional sausage roll, with both of them being very tasty. The bakery was very busy when I was there, so getting a table may be an issue during the busy periods. A very tasty experience overall and a great selection of bakery items, to suit all tastes.

A nice bakery cafe with good freshly made stuff on the menu. Coffee is average but food is really good. Ample seating capacity and EasyPay parking available by the roadside next to the cafe. Staff is so friendly and helpful and is open on public holidays- won't charge you extra. Service is very quick and warm. Prices are very reasonable compaired to expensive Tassie food industry.

I ordered a sandwich platter from banjo's yesterday for a gathering. It was very well presented, a good variety of sandwiches and they were all delicious! Will definitely be ordering this again in the future

Came to the Burnie stall every time I came to Burnie but after today I won't be coming back the sausage rolls are half the size that they were so they tried fixing the problem by giving me 1 for free but it was cold and they aren't even cooked properly thrown out food and left very unhappy

Honestly really disappointed. The double choc muffin I got was all dried out so ended up throwing it out. They didn't have the pies we had ordered and already paid for so we had to substitute out for potato an bacon pies that had burnt bacon on top of it. They didn't have the drinks we ordered either so we had to substitute out the drinks as well. One of the pies we ordered was missing and they tasted really flakey an way to puffy. Only thing that tasted good was the banana milk and that wasn't even made by them.

Out of about 10 breakfast options, only 1 didn’t have meat… Which was a piece of bread with a tiny amount of shriveled mushroom & spinach on it. Pretty disappointing! I ended up having to go somewhere else.Perhaps think about having some breakfast toasties that don’t contain bacon or ham!
