Converted Recently (Jan 2022) from state woodland to national park. Confusing to include camp area as it is revegetated farmland with some fencing and farm remnants etc still visible and herbicide spraying on edges of bordering grain farms. Be wary no dogs permitted! Camp fees are $11 per night per person, with someone collecting daily. Would like to see more authentic rehabilitation of camp area woodland happening and a rainwater tank. Otherwise it's a peaceful spot and beautiful wildflowers in Spring.

Lovely camp fire on a crisp winter evening share with my sister, brother-in-law and my husband. Wood supplied at each campsight. Lovely clean sites. Dinner cooked on the parks bbq. Did not camp but enjoyed our even.

Wonderful campground with great facilities including several bush toilets and a kitchen with water available. Stunning forest setting and great to see the camp hosts asking people who had dogs to leave.

Congelin is much smaller than its sister across the road but if you can get it to yourself out of peak period. It's pure bliss.

This place is a bit of a joke. Not really a National Park more like reclaimed farmland that the local council is happy to charge you $11 per person per night for. No running water, no phone reception , no dogs allowed and some rundown drop toilets. It’s In the middle of nowhere and would only be worth visiting if you weren’t being charged for it.

A little gem just under 2 hours from Perth. Campgrounds have been recently renovated and there are plenty of well kept long drops which makes a nice change. Steel firepits are what's stopping this from 5 stars. With the size of the ring you just can't get a good fire going. And definately bring your own firewood as the firewood provided at gnaala Mia was shocking. Must have just been cut it was so wet.

Flat sites, good drop toilets. Beautiful scenery and wildlife. Several places of interest including Barna Mia sanctuary.

Loved it. Went back again in the van and took some friends. Nice big campfires every night using the local mallett wood. The indigenous ranger was very helpfull. Loved spotting for possums at night and echidnas in the days. Going back again soon.
