Quality Inn Ashby House Tamworth

First time I had been south of the River in Tamworth. Great motel that was clean and the rooms were quite large. The only issue was that it was a good solid 10min walk to Peel street

Lovely modern rooms, close to town, comfy beds, nice facilities, would recommend.

A quite good place for traveller with huge and roofted car park just infront your room.. If you get the floor level room. Quite and have a small swimming pool may good for kids. If you looking doings work in the room this is not the place which is Internet is below 10mbps.

Ashby house has such a lovely presentation from the front which helped us choose this accommodation for our 1 night stay. The other reason to choose ashby house was we wanted somewhere that had an in house restaurant which there was. Our room was very clean and adequate but what really got the stars is the the friendly staff and most importantly our meal at the restaurant that evening was the best we had in a very long time.Well priced and a great selection and portion sizes.Highly recommend.

Handy location 800 odd metres from city centre, clean and comfortable. Shower was a bit dodgy with low pressure, switching between hot and cold constantly. Unable to key lock door from inside just a latch across door. There was one 2 towels in bathroom, they were booked out the weekend we stayed so maybe they were short. Very friendly staff and easy check in and out.

Good size rooms, very clean, good water pressure and nice service. Parking is a little limited but good location and overall great stay.

The first time we stayed at the Ashby they informed us that the family room was unavailable after we booked it via their online booking system, but offered us 2 hotel rooms for the same price. We had booked again for July with our son’s basketball team. Two days after booking online via their website I discovered an email saying it had been cancelled. This time they did not call to let me know what had happened. Luckily I found the email! When I spoke with the hotel they said the online booking system wasn’t working. When I pointed out it hadn’t been working for months, she just said sorry! Fix the booking system before you inconvenience anyone!!!!

Lovely people, great accommodation!We stayed in the cottage and it was a very sweet house, perfect for our family. The ducted air conditioning was nice and kept us warm. Rooms were large and beds were comfortable. The cottage had some gorgeous period features and also a modern kitchen and bathroom.The owners were helpful and kind and we would definitely stay here again.

Modern, clean room. Wonderful staff with fantastic customer service. Pool area was clean and enjoyable. Great value for money and would absolutely return!
