Definitely do not recommend, TERRIBLE place! go elsewhere if you can, AVOID!!

Terrible products(Toolex) and service at the West Gosford shop. Never again!!! Not many of the toolex tools I bought lasted longer the 2-4 uses. This time I bought a Belt Disc Sander 4 x 36" 6" that had smoke pouring out of it after its 4th use 21 days after I bought it. Very light use - smoothing the cut edge on tiny 40mmx40mm by 8mm thin perspex pieces. Manager refuses refund as I let dust get on the machine and he is certain the dust on the outside of the machine destroyed the motor. He acted very rude and aggressive towards me. Lets see what fair trading and the consumer law say about it.***Full refund paid today after Fair trading complaint was lodged.***Know your rights

Was my first place to go to for tools not any more. Prices way to high poor quality on some I haven't been back since I went to buy a milling vice $300 dollar markup for same vice at hare and Forbes. Hopefully they come back down to reality and sort there product prices out soon

Toolex - Refused to perform a order cancel and refund immediately after I purchased something online. Excuse was that it was already logged with the shipping company. But the order had not been picked up yet, so could have cancelled but chose not to.Reason I needed to cancel. Noticed that the $5 globe I had ordered came with a $40 freight fee. This tiny bulb can fit in an envelope. So not only are the completely unhelpful, refusal to cancel and refund was probably bordering on illegal, they are also thieves. Avoid like the plague.

It took them 5 business days to dispatch an order because for the 3 out of those 5 business days the head office hasn't received the paperwork yet". This one item was purchased online. Don't know what's happened. Always used to get good service and prices. Got told to bury my DeWalt drill in the back yard as it's more than 2 years old. Pointed in the direction of the welders and ignored for 10 minutes. I walked out. That cost them over $750 in sales.
