Blue Bay Divers

Would highly recommend whale watching with Blue Bay Divers!!! It was a beautiful day out on the water and at one point (even though they obviously can’t guarantee how many whales will be spotted) there were 5 whales swimming and playing around the boat for 30 mins!!The Blue Bay crew were also an absolute dream. They were super organised, had great communication, and everything ran like clockwork. They were also super relaxed and genuinely invested in us having a positive experience out on the water. I learned a lot from their knowledge of whales and would absolutely do again!!

Top dive operation highly recommend for all the reasons listed on your website . Only wish we had known about you sooner. I Won’t be diving with another operator from here again.

An amazing snorkel half day tour!! The staff were friendly and helpful. They took us out to Byron Bay’s top snorkel spot. As other operators came and went, we had 3 hours in the water. It was the best feature of the entire trip! Sea Turtles, Manta Rays, Leopard Sharks. A very small drive from Byron Bay for a superior experience.

It was such a great experience. We saw everything we wanted, sharks turtles and and and... The crew was sooo friendly and very helpful. They really liked what they were doing and we had a lot of fun. 175$ for full equipment and 2 dives is a very good price in my opinion. The gear which they gave us was in an excellent shape and was very good. The meal was okay as well.Thank you so much for the awesome half day, we really enjoyed it!

Myself, husband and two kids 10 and 12 had an awesome adventure with Christina, Rod and Captain Roundy, snorkeling Julian Rocks today. We felt very safe and looked after and managed to see many beautiful marine life, including a school of Leopard Sharks and a large loggerhead turtle! Highly recommend this!

Highly recommend, fantastic dive guides, amazing dive today and really nice team. They put in a lot of effort on the boat to make you comfortable in between dives. Dive guides will buddy up those low on air and watch them up whilst the rest can get their 60mins in.

Professional, friendly, well organised, great boat, safety-focused and get to double dive on a single trip in Byron without actually having to go Byron Bay. Awesome

went on the last whale watching cruise of the season with these guys and cant recommend them enough. Crew were awesome, super chilled, easy going and fun. It was great to be on a boat where you can move around and sit on the bow as well. Had the privilege of seeing 6 beautiful humpbacks...what a way to spend a morning!! We will definitely book with them again as you can never see too much whale :)

I cannot recommend these guys more highly. We dived with Blue Bay Divers a couple of weeks ago and they were friendly, professional, on time, good value, and had fantastic snacks ;) They also do a double dive in a single trip - for me hands down the best option in the area. I will be recommending them to everyone I meet and look forward to diving with them again in future.

In January I joined Blue Bay for a morning double-dive and had a wonderful time. There were a couple of things that stood out to me which make me want to highly recommend them to anyone else considering diving at Julian Rocks.First, the Blue Bay crew seemed to operate so efficiently, but in a relaxed atmosphere. I've been out with other dive operators who seem to run around in a semi-chaotic manner which makes the preparation process feel rushed and stressful. Not the Blue Bay crew; it seemed like each person had their responsibilities coordinated so everything from check-in, gear set-up/checks, and loading on the boat flowed so smoothly that it felt relaxed and moved very quickly. And this atmosphere extended to how the crew operated on the boat and during the dives.Secondly, I really liked how Blue Bay coordinated their dive times at Julian Rocks to avoid being underwater at the same time as the other dive centers operating out of Byron Bay. This really helped keep the underwater experience from being too crowded due to multiple operators competing for the same spots.These two factors coupled with an amazing spot at Julian Rocks made for a really great experience!
