Stockland Halcyon Lakeside

Will Halcyon Lakeside regularly get to around 35C to 40C during summer each year on particularly hot days i.e. hot days in January to mid March? It is situated in a small basin or depression, with a massive hill right next to it on the southern side and a hill on the northern side. Certainly a hot house in my personal opinion, and not because the trees that have been planted are in their early stages of growth. At October 2017

Staff were extremely friendly and polite and showed us around their delightful establishment, the amenities were very impressive and the people we met all looked very happy to be living there.

Recently I was contacted by a representative who invited me to a meeting at Twin Waters to discuss the up coming development at Buderim for interested persons to indicate what they would like to have included... All was very interesting to me... but then today 24/6/19 I received a phone call to advise me that I was no longer invited to the upcoming meeting... UNBELIEVEABLE.... So rude... Obviously the marketing has drawn additional enquiry... so I have been DUMPED and no longer invited to the upcoming meeting. ... so unprofessional. and just because they had other persons interested. ....

Visited my Aunt here. Very pretty area and quality houses, gated community with guest parking. Little tricky to get to and off the beaten path. You'll need a car.

Long way from facilities outside of 'camp'. Will be hot in summer being based in a hollow. If you do not have a vehicle it will be very difficult to get anywhere. May suit those who like to live in isolation from a normal community.

Visited friends/family there, gorgeous facilities, tons of stuff to do for residents and their guests. The onsite cinema is incredible!

Attended the open day and was made very welcome. Halcyon Lakes is a great village with lots of Villa's. Not sure how hot the village will get during the hotter months given the amount of concrete roadways etc Great Facilities for residents.

The service was very poor as I had to go looking for staff to serve me.

Amazing development, 1st class Facilities and excellent quality of construction.Somehow I gave a one star review, not intentional, I always comment on a review and this was blank! Corrected the insult, apologies.

What is there not to like. An over 50s place to live where it is done properly. Forgot the rest.. they are rubbish. Halcyon know how to do it & do it well. Never been happier. Do your self a favour & move into a Halcyon.
