I got the 'Chequered Love Scarf' in Amethyst recently, and cannot rave about this scarf highly enough! The service and support from Ingrid to get the right colour and style to suit me was second-to-none, and I have never had a scarf of such high quality (and I have quite the collection!).The scarf is just beautiful. It is so soft, light and delicate you genuinely wonder if it is made from wool. The warmth it provides leaves you with no doubt that it is wool. The bright colours make it the perfect accent piece for a formal or business outfit, adding an element of fun and playfulness while remaining sophisticated. On the other hand, it can easily compliment a casual outfit, perfect for a brunch date or family catch-up. Like any good love, you will want to show this scarf off to everyone you know...it's far from chequered!

Ingrid's business is quite unique. She works with her heart as well as her very sound business sense. Where the Wilde Things Are is a place of integrity & beauty. Her suppliers are known to her, they value her very fair patronage, in return they produce items to treasure, either for yourself or as gifts. Last week I took delivery of two stunning scarves, I feel so spoilt especially with my 100% silk item. I cant wait to see the colourful Turkish beachtowels I ordered this week to tuck away as Christmas gifts

This is a beautiful store filled with beautiful things. I fell in love with the romantic jewelry and will definitely visit online now that being there in person is not so simple.And Ingrid is a splendid host - kind and patient and made me feel so welcome.Hope some day to step inside her magical store once more!

I have ordered 5 times now and my experience dealing with the wonderful Ingrid has been amazing each time. The service is personalised and wonderful. Ingrid stocks items you will not find anywhere else in the shops, often sourced from organic, fair trading enterprises worldwide and she will also endeavour to source products produced by women and benefiting them in an ethical way. Ingrid also gives back to the community. I would highly recommend this business to anyone looking to find that unique beautiful item for themselves or as a gift.

I have quite a few items from this amazing shop. The quality of the towels are amazing. I also love the crocheted baskets. I use these daily and they are just so beautiful and useful for everyday use. The shop owner Ingrid is so helpful kind and lovely to talk to. I will be there again soon to buy presents for my family and friends. This shop is a must see in the hills. It will not disappoint!!
