I've ordered from this website on a number of occasions and found their service to be excellent. They have always dispatched my orders very promptly. I once had an issue with an order and it was fixed by the owner without any problems. I will continue to use them and I highly recommend them to anyone

My wife and I attended Brents Charcuterie course over the long weekend. We have done 10 food related courses over the years including one in Venice. I learnt more from Brents hands on course than I have picked up at any course I have attended. On top of that, as part of the course, we came away with a whole pig broken down and with a considerable amount of it converted into various forms of Charcuterie. Peter Booth the author of “A Charcuterie Diary” gave a presentation on the Sunday as well as a “Show and Tell” of some products he had made recently, this gave us an insight into the possibilities we could achieve. I was also amazed at the items available at “My Slice of Life” that saw me return home somewhat poorer but with all the gear I need to get started.If you are at all interested in curing meat this is a very worthwhile course and is good value.

Was given a voucher to attend the Charcoal Grillin basics workshop as a chrissy gift from my partner.. Awesome gift for someone starting to do American bbq, Brent and Shane were very informative, I also learnt why my brisket attempts fail.. look forward to putting my new found knowledge into practice and using My slice of life in the future for quality upgrades to my outdoor kitchen.. well done guys

The slice of life from the first moment I went in there I was impressed with the variety of kitchenware from noodle makers to coffee grinders and other specialist equipment. But what I really liked was the staff from the get-go major I was made to feel at home and they really looked after me so I just want to say a special thanks I really appreciate it and wish you all a merry Christmas.

Butchery & Curing Masterclass. Brent & Pete Booth were great teachers & generous with their time and knowledge. A wonderful opportunity to work with excellent local produce and take home everything produced (bring your largest esky!). Materials and equipment sold at the store are also first-rate.
