Mobile Alteration Express

After my seamstress closed up, I was devastated as I don’t trust just anyone with my clothes. I read the reviews here so gave it a go and I’m so happy I did. Their amazing work totally exceeded my expectations. Super quick work too. And very reasonably priced. I have more clothes that need altering, and I’m definitely coming back here. I wouldn’t go anywhere else now.

Had an emergency situation as I ruined a friends hoody.They wanted it back on Monday and I damaged it on Saturday.My wife told me there was no way to fix it and I thought the same.But I thought I would try this business as they were open on Sunday.I dropped it in and it was fully repaired on same day in 3 hours.The job was perfect, and there was no way you could tell it was ever ruined.I can definately recommend this place, the staff were very polite also.Easy 5 star rating from me.

Brought in a range of items for adjustments, including some jobs that I was turned away from other places because of difficulty, or over $150 for one jacket. Surprised at the turnaround as well for bulk items I brought in. Fantastic place to get your clothing altered. Very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend and I would be back here again.

Very very disappointed.Never ever use this service definitely choose a more professional service.Would give them a -100 if l could.Feel like l was taken advantage of.l had a very special event to attend and took a pleated dress in to be taken up and the split opened up.Had 5 visits for this to be completed BADLY.l was shocked with the first return visit to find out my dress wasn’t even in the shop even though they had organised a date for me to pick it up and completed and paid up front.Then a couple of visits later to see the result was an absolute disaster and the dress ruined and that was only the hem that was so uneven at the bottom.Hadn’t even opened up the split and then was told that it was difficult material.Then to have the split opened up and it not to be at all straight and the lining showing.Nothing was said at the first fitting about it being difficult or l would have taken it somewhere else.l asked for money back for the dress that they completely ruined but was only offered a new dress that they would be taken up from the waist not the hem line that l was told how they were going to do it in the first place and clearly didn’t but only if l took it back to them to have altered.There was no way l was going to trust them with it to absolutely ruin another $200 dress plus alterations.l wasn’t even offered the return of the alterations that would of been the decent thing to do.They have left me with no other choice than contact consumer affairs!!

This shop has completely destroyed my partners wedding dress. They claimed they could make a wedding dress. We explained how important it was that it was done with the upmost care, since the dress material was from my grandmother.They assured us they could handle this. Then proceeded to produce a sun pat dress, material cut to shreds and barely salvageable. We have had to take the dress away to another business to try and fix the dress.We then tried to calmly talk to the owners of this shop about what issues there was and if they would consider a partial refund considering they didn’t even finish the dress. (They made us pay up front half way through making the dress claiming it was finished, they then continued making it for over a month after receiving the payment)They have responded in such a rude matter and refuse to discuss a way of rectifying the situation. We are now a week out from the wedding with no dress after they tried to produce a sub par dress for 8 monthsWe are currently lodging a claim with VCAT. Please stay clear of this business

Absolutely heart broken. I tried to get my wedding dress made here. They then took my money and didn’t deliver a complete dress and my new dress maker has said it is some of the worst work they have seen.At this stage they are refusing a refund or even a partial refund.
