Bridge Road Early Learning Centre

My son has been attending this centre for about 8 months now and I am very happy with the centre, the staff and his progress. I looked into over a dozen other highly rated daycare and kindergarten centres across Melbourne before deciding on Bridge Road ELC - My son actually attended 2 other centres in Melbourne but he didn't settle in well to them. He would always be in tears during drop offs at the other centres he went to (even after months of attending), which was horrible to experience, but after 1 or 2 days of him attending here he was completely settled and now the only tears are when I pick him up sometimes as he doesn't want to leave!! He even asks if he can go 7 days a week! The staff are all amazing and provide such a warm, safe and engaging environment for the kids. They have fantastic programs in place and you can tell all the kids really love being here. Thank you to BRELC for making daycare/kindergarten such a positive experience for us. I absolutely recommend this centre to anyone!

I don't really know where to start with this review because we have absolutely loved sending our daughter to Bridge Road ELC. Initially she was at a much bigger, louder, sterile daycare with loads of kids and no easy access to outdoors. The staff there didn't get to know our daughter and she hated it. So when I found Bridge Road and saw how much she enjoyed it, felt safe and comfortable, I knew it was right. It has a warm family feel, the teachers all took the time to really get to understand our daughter, they welcomed us from day one and we couldn't have asked for better care. If we weren't relocating to NZ we would be sending our boy there too. Can't recommend enough!

Both my kids have been at BRELC from a young age and love it. The educators are extremely kind, caring and passionate and the centre has a very warm feel, making it easy to leave the kids there each day without a worry. The education opportunities are endless and the incursions such as music and Kelly Sports are a huge hit. With a fantastic garden including animals and vegie patches, you wouldn't know you were on the edge of the city. I can't recommend it enough from the nursery years right through to the kinder program.

We stumbled upon this gem over 5 years ago and have sent all three of our children to BRELC. The educators and management staff are capable, responsive and kind. They work incredibly hard to provide the children with a nurturing environmentand lots of enriching learning experiences and opportunities, and have always been so accommodating and supportive to us as parents. Would not hesitate to recommend.

After nine years and three children, we have finally ended our time at Bridge Rd Early Learning Centre. They have been the most wonderful educators of our kids over this time.They have had to put up with countless tantrums and nappy changes and their care for our kids and those of our friends over this time never ceased to diminish.Most importantly, they have taught our kids to make close friendships, love books and music, be curious about the world, arouse their scientific and dig huge holes in the sandpit!I recommend the staff and team at BRELC to anyone who is considering long day care for their children. The staff are terrific - they are true educators, not babysitters, and take their position with the level of care as they would their own children.

I feel so fortunate to have found BRELC for my son.He has been enrolled since he was 10 months old. He is now 5 yrs and still enjoying the place. He feels like its his home. Thanks to the Management and the staff for looking after him so well. The communication with parents is really awesome and been updated daily about his progress through Storypark. If anyone looking for a good childcare, I would ask them to check BRELC first. Thanks to Nicoletta for doing a wonderful job.

We could not have chosen a better daycare for our family. We loved the environment (particularly the outdoor space with real dirt and nature and animals!) and the feel of this centre. Great food. Fantastic responsiveness/daily updates of menu and ongoing. The staff are fabulous, creative, caring and curious. Our son thrived and was supported and created bonds with all staff across all rooms. It certainly has a family vibe to it. Whilst we had to say goodbye to many carers in 3 years, we were never let down by the new starters and this was navigated somewhat seamlessly. We met so many special people and we miss BRELC. It will forever hold a special place in our hearts!

Bridge Road ELC is a wonderful childcare centre. The educators are very caring and went above and beyond to help our boy settle in and to make him feel belonged. He loves going there, and has so much fun with all the activities they organise every week from music and sports class, to painting and seasonal themed events. The Centre is also amazing at engaging with families and they regularly organise events which is great to meet other families and get to know the team better. We love being part of the BRELC community and couldn’t be happier with our decision for this Centre.

My son attended BRELC for 3.5 years and I could not be happier with the care and education he received throughout his time there. All the educators bring their own style, passion and personality to the role which creates diversity and allows the little ones to build trust and unique relationships with each educator. Throughout the pandemic BRELC maintained an extremely high level of professional care and standards, providing continuity and routine for my son as he continued his growth journey during a very uncertain and difficult time. Over the years my son and I have built strong relationships with the staff and they always provided support, flexibility and a genuine interest in our well-being. As a first time mother I experienced the usual anxieties of entrusting others with the care of my son however this was not the case with BRELC- the centre's vibe and operation is much like a large extended family and I knew my son was in the best care. He is now ready for a seamless transition into primary school and I have the centre to thank for all of their hard work, tailored care and education provided. I highly recommend BRELC.

I couldn't be happier with my choice to send my boys to Bridge Rd ELC, the staff are wonderful and much loved by kids and parents alike. The centre itself is so homely and comforting, and they have some excellent facilities and incursions like music and yoga. The educators are really attentive and warm, and tolerant - even with my stubborn 3 year old taking his time with toilet training! The playground is also excellent, they grow their own vegies and the food they serve is of a high standard, all made on the premises and very healthy. They also often cook their own produce with the kids. I would recommend this centre very highly, a home away from home!
