Davis Removals & Storage

Recently moved from Melbourne to Sunshine Coast and used Davis Removals & Storage. From the first point of contact I was met with helpful and friendly service. Dusty was our driver and had the truck packed perfectly. Everything arrived 100% in original condition. No damages or broken items. The cost was very competitive. I had many quotes from different complained and these guys were the best by far! Would highly recommend them to anyone moving!

I would highly recommend Davis removals. They recently completed a move of an entire house lot from storage in Melbourne to Bundaberg. From the initial phone call with Tyson I felt at ease. They completed the job within 5 days of us booking it in. They worked in well with our storage company in Melbourne. The price was extremely reasonable and was the cheapest out of the quotes I got from removalist in Bundaberg/Hervey bay region. Everything turned up as it was when we last saw it. There were no hidden fees and the actual removalist were fantastic.The removalist industry can get a bad name sometimes. But these guys are fantastic.

Really disappointing experience. Before the move we had agreed with Davis that they would break down all of the major furniture. However on the day of the move they were short staffed so I had to do the work. When the furniture arrived in our new home Davis staff then were unable to put the furniture back together. They aggressively told my partner that because I had broken down the furniture it was my fault that the Davis staff couldn't rebuild it. They were aggressive which was intimidating for a female alone in a house with three male removalists. I had to do nearly all of the furniture rebuild. As we have unpacked we have found lots of damage that has occurred through careless handling. They reduced our bill by $200 when we complained however when that's off a $5,700 bill it feels like a very tokenisitic reduction. Additionally repairing all the damage will cost alot more than that. I would never use Davis again and would actively not recommend them to anyone else.

Ulladulla to Bribie Island... It's a long haul and most removal companies were not interested in taking on the job relative to the exhorbitant quotes we received...Not Davis Removals... !!!Jo gave us a call shortly after my enquiry online and absolutely 'bent over backwards' to facilitate the move from a storage facility in Ulladulla to Bribie Island.The load included an 18 foot sailing kayak and trailer. 'No problem' says Jo...The pickup happened on the Monday morning and Wednesday morning the trucks arrived... 2 1/2 hours later the move was completed by a team that was professional, courteous and on time.I have no association with Davis Removals but will unreservedly recommend them to anyone needing a value for money professional removal. Well done Jo and the team... ;-)

If you need to move house to ANYWHERE, do yourself a favour, pick up the phone, call Davis removals and never look back.I first hired them when I was moving from Melbourne to Hervey Bay. They quoted me over the phone and their quote was thousands cheaper than any Melbourne or QLD based company, not to mention they were just so lovely to deal with.. I hired them for the job and not only did they move all my belongings to Hervey Bay without incident, they were gracious enough to keep everything on the container and store it at their depot for a fraction of storage fees at a storage place until I was ready to move into my new home. Not one thing was broken.The second time we used Davisremovals was when my mother moved up to QLD. I didn't even hesitate. I rang the manager straight away, gave all the particulars and again it was a seamless move.The third time we used Davis was a few years later when my mother decided to move again. Without hesitation we called Jo (manager) and arranged the move. Dusty moved all our stuff each time and this time was no exception. Again seamless, excellent price, easy to deal with and not one thing lost or broken.Approximately 6 months later I had to move back to Melbourne for family reasons and again, who did I call? Without even a second thought, Davis removals. I had already referred friends to them and they have all been grateful as I am because it's a really stressful thing moving and you want to know your belongings are treated with care and Skill.So once again I booked their services. Again, impeccable service. Unfortunately at the Melbourne end, a granite countertop was cracked during the move. This is how that was handled: Dusty (the fabulous driver and removalist) took a photo of the break and sent it to the manager of Davis Removals, within a few days Jo, the manager emailed me asked me to provide the measurements of the countertop and a few days after that I was emailed with a choice of different granite tops.Not only did they replace it with BETTER granite, it was delivered to my door by Dusty, who I hold in great esteem. Simple, easy, no stress.Do not even hesitate, if you need to move house, pick up the phone and trust your belongings with Davis Removals. They are a really lovely family business, very personable, highly professional and truly know exactly what they are doing.There are lots of shonky removalists out there who just hire a truck and get any Jo blow to move your stuff resulting in badly packed trucks, broken belongings and lost boxes. I should know, experienced it myself. Do not risk that. Davis Removals actually do this for a living, day in, day out and know their craft.I can't thank you all enough for all of your amazing care with our belongings, for being a pleasure to deal with (as evidenced by us using your services for 4 interstate moves in 3 years) and your utmost professionalism.I will always refer you to anyone needing to move.Do they have Business Awards for furniture removalists? We had a small load vehicle collected from our shoe box size shed in Hervey Bay for Albury NSW. It was picked up at time stated on Wednesday and has just been delivered in perfect condition by a very friendly chap in AlburySince my first contact they have been most helpful and priced the job very competitivelyThank you to all your team we would highly recommend you to anyone moving interstateGood luck

I was disappointed. I was told by one of their crew member that since they don’t have a specific screw they can not move one of my bed. He said either you arrange it now or we will leave this bed . I ended up calling the main office . I complained this is unprofessional. Cause I was worried and anxious with that statement. That screw was brought by the main boss at the end to my place. It means they have the screw. But still I was given a hard time. In my view if they accept the offer they should be ready with all the things required for the removal before hand. But the worst scenario happened when the main person of the Davis Removalist came. He had absolutely no manner to deal and communicate with customers. He was loud ,rude and unreasonable. At the end my job was done by the crew members . I appreciate their hard work but completely disappointed by unprofessionalism and their rude manner.I was upset whole day. If god is there , I hope there is a repercussion. (out of the 3 people I dealt from Davis Removalist, one was kind and professional and thank you for your professionalism and kindness).

These guys are the BEST!!!! From Jodi in the office, to Dusty the truck driver and his assistant Paul, I can't fault them. We moved our things from Melbourne to the Gold Coast. These guys were on schedule, super accommodating and worked around me to make things possible. I can't thank them enough. They went over and beyond expectations and we will be forever grateful. Thanks for your patience and the laughs we had. Best of luck to you all

We moved from Melbourne to Hervey Bay and these guys were exceptional. Loaded and unloaded with care and quickly. Punctual and efficient. Highly recommended.
