Lake Narracan
Lake Narracan is a quiet place surrounded by forest. Nature is beautiful here with a lot of singing birds and parrots. You can fish, take a walk in the woods, ride a Jet Ski or have a picnic. We were lucky to see Australian Superb Fairy Wren - a beautiful little bluebird. The lake is mostly quite shallow, so the best way of fishing is from a boat or jetty nearby. There are mushrooms in this forest. Therefore, if you know which one to pick, you will get a lot of fun in the fall season.

This lake is very scenic and has great facilities. The only downside is the close proximity to the power plant which churns out a lot of smoke.

It was a beautiful quiet spot to go spend time at. The water was calming, the shore appeared to be clear of all rubbish that I could see.

Good for a quiet picnic or to give the dogs an off leash run. No facilities. No toilets. No seating or tables. Camping. Boat ramp.
