Lake Bolac
Lovely big lake just next to the town of Lake Bolac. There is a caravan park as well as lots of free camping around the lake. There are clean toilets & showers in several spots around the shore. There is a boat ramp for fisherman & skiers. The lake is about 7m deep & has mainly trout & red fin. Would recommend a visit!

It's a lovely lake. We didn't catch any fish. Mayflies in the billions there when we were there.

Great we had wonderful time it rained and was cold but we had a very sheltered spot I felt sorry for the campers on the other side of the lake they had no shelter at all

Great camping spot right on the lake... good spot for the kids to play safely in the water without it being too deep. Lots of shade from the trees.

Peaceful but the mozzies! So big you could saddle them. We hadn't had that problem a year ago so they are probably seasonal

Has a very conveniently placed public toilet block on the road through the town. Minimal deviation from your path on your way through the town.

Good for overnight stop. Camped further down from the facilities. Was very windy , would be nice to try again without it.
