A quiet place to visit during winter when the lake partially turned into ice.The facilities around the lake comprise toilets, a campground, and a picnic area. But the campground is closed during winter.

Definitely worth a visit. Last time we were there though, there was lot of rubbish and toilet paper left behind. Hope people can take their rubbish with them

Unfortunately this campground suffers from rowdy campers and nothing is done to limit noise. If you book during a quiet time (think weekday outside of school holidays) it would be a serene relaxing location but if you are trying to get away from it all consider walking in to one of the hiker camp sites.

Beautiful peaceful location, ideal for a swim, bush walk or water activities. Highly recommended if you are visiting Mt Buffalo.

Great spot for a picnic by the lakeside! A few little spots to set up and go for a swim in the lake. There’s a track that goes around the lake for a walk too

Great view, tables available for lunch.Campsite is there too, has bbq’s and toilets that are clean and maintained well.

There was ice on the edge of the lake. I had to wade in to launch the canoe but it was well worth it ... My toes might disagree though. ( I've uploaded some pictures as well)
