Well kept walking paths, spots to sit by the lake and soak up the views, boardwalks, bridges toilets and benches. Not too big. A fantastic lake tucked in a convenient part of surbubia.

I would highly recommend coming to this park when it's a clear early morning or when the sun is starting to set so if you are going to go for a sunset walk in this area, go to the lake. Also make sure to snap a pic.

Nice park for a walk in the suburbs. Great bird life to veiw. A modern kids playground and a visitor centre. A selection of trails, longest about 2.5 kms around the lake.

Love the trek here. Been here a few times mostly during mornings. One thing to be kept in mind especially when visiting early mornings or late evenings during autumn, the toilets are closed until 7 or 8 am in the morning. So be aware of that in case you plan to visit early morning.There are slides and stuff for the kids.Overall the park is pretty beautiful with lots of trees and bushes. You will enjoy a walk if you love nature.

Blackburn Lake Sanctuary
Lovely park, very well-maintained and clearly loved. A peaceful environment and suitable for easy walks (saw a few joggers, as well) and of course, great to see the lake. The bridges are well-kept too. Good place to visit and spend time.

Large and lovely place to walk. Feels like you are far out the city. Good for kids too.
